This box comes with a card detailing the items included:

Now, on to the items!

Weight Gurus WiFi Smart Scale by Greater Goods - Retail Value $140 (On Amazon for $70)

This scale is awesome! It measures weight plus body fat, BMI, muscle mass, water weight, and bone mass. You can use the free Weight Gurus app to keep track of your weigh-ins, too.

It comes with the 4 batteries needed.

And it can detect up to 8 separate users, so multiple people can have their numbers tracked!

Misfit Phase Hybrid Smartwatch - Retail Value $149.99

First, beautiful packaging:

Just in case you aren't thinking of keeping this for yourself, it would be a great gift:

This watch is a smartwatch/fitness tracker hybrid that is designed to actually look like a watch!

When you first set up the watch, you download the app and sync with your phone. The watch will automatically move the dials to show the same time on your phone.

It tracks steps, distance, calories, and sleep. And you can set vibration alerts for call and text notifications, alarms, and custom app notifications.

And there's a smart-button function that allows you to wirelessly play and pause music and take a selfie.

My favorite part is that you don't need to charge it - it comes with a 6-month replaceable coin cell battery. In theory, you never need to take it off. (It's water-resistant, too.)

It's a bit bigger than a typical watch (but probably standard for a smartwatch). It fit both me and my husband well, (I had to use the smallest setting on the band, though).

iGlove in Navy - Value $17

I always need new gloves every winter season so I was very happy to see these in the box. (Today was an especially cold day!)

These knit gloves have a different weave on the fingertips that allows you to use all touchscreen devices while wearing them - so useful!

Corkcicle Decapitator - Retail Value $20

I think this would make the perfect stocking stuffer gift!

It's designed to quickly de-cap beer bottles - no batteries needed.

And it is designed with magnets so you don't have to worry about the cap falling on the floor!

W&P Design Pop Art Puzzle - Retail Value $20

This puzzle features an original design and is 18 X 18 inches when completed.

I always used to do puzzles with my grandma when I was a kid, so this was a nice nostalgic treat to find in the box!

Breo Box almost always includes tech items and accessories, so it was nice to see a screen-free item in the box, too!

Tooletries Toothbrush Holder - Value $18

Things I never thought I'd say: I'm so impressed with the design of this toothbrush holder!

But seriously, it is amazing!

It's silicone and designed to stick to any glossy surface (tile, glass, mirrors, etc.) without suction cups!

And it pairs nicely with this matching mirror:

Tooletries Shower Mirror - Value $13

These worked well on the tiles of our shower + the glass door!

Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $378! At the $139 price, (even without the $15 coupon), I think the value is great. The curation is outstanding with this box - it always feels like unboxing the best gift ever. And the wooden box itself is really well made and a great storage box. (Plus the wooden box this season is huge compared to previous boxes!)

I feel like the creators at Breo do a great job of finding really well-designed products that I didn't know I needed. And this is a box that my husband Eric and I both get excited about!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! As of today, 12/7, the Winter box is still available. Make sure to sign up ASAP if you want this box.

Not willing to settle

Interesting that some people are satisfied (happy even) paying $130+ for overpriced knickknacks. Pretty clear that the nays have it. Breo Box needs to step up their game to keep those who want quality items purchasing their sub. I guess if you have low expectations and money to burn, it would be easy to get excited about this one. The puzzle is poor quality as well- the pieces don’t stay together. I guess some don’t care about silly things like that. Lots of other subs to spend this chunk of change on. I could get a whole lot of cool Fabfitfun add-ons that would be better quality. Except the jewelry, of course.

I’m new member of Breo Subscription box- I subscribed when I saw this review, I hope that my box will be the same as the one presented here.

One other thing! Why are the gloves branded? They would be much nicer without the awful text on them. They feel like the kind of swag companies give out for free at career fairs in order to promote themselves cheaply.

It’s not the items are necessarily bad, they’re just definitely not worth the price of the box. The toothbrush holder and mirror should not come in gimicky colors, and the bottle opener is silly. I thought from the name and image that it would be an automatic wine opener, but it’s just a massive bottle opener. Who needs this?
I bought this as a gift and now I’m too embarrassed to give it, and I am also out $139 and need to find a higher quality gift last minute.

Unfortunately Aleks, the shocking blue toothbrush holder and mirror that I received are not in a color that would match ANYONE’s decor. You’re right that the photo doesn’t so them justice- they are even more obnoxious in person. They would NOT adhere at all to my shower wall (you might not be aware that not all shower walls are glossy plastic- so much for being hi-tech- it doesn’t function like you claim.

If I had received a plain white one (or at least a neutral color) like MSA received (which I doubt is a coincidence), at least I could consider gifting (read dumping) it. I would never put that icky blue color up in my bathroom, or be able to give it as a gift other than as a gag gift. They look like something one could find in the dollar store- the icky blue or pink leftovers that no one wanted to buy.

I would never choose to buy the puzzle if I saw it in a store- it’s just not that interesting.

Was there any thought process in choosing the filler items? Or just clearanced out (FREE?) because no one else wanted them? I cannot believe anyone would actually CHOOSE to put the icky blue mirror and toothbrush holder or puzzle in an upscale sub box.

As a new subscriber, I will seriously consider cancelling before the next box is sent. Whoever is doing your curating needs to be replaced ASAP.

I bet you’re a real treat for retail workers who cross your path.

Really disappointed in this box. I bought this as a gift for my husband, but the tacky “tooletries” and puzzle are just embarrassing. Straight to goodwill. And, no real “curation” here–just a random pile of stuff.
I thought I had found a cool box, but will probably cancel the subscription–I could buy dollar store junk myself if that is what I wanted.
Breobox–I hope you are reading the comments.

Anyone familiar with ease of order cancelling? Bought this for my fiance for Christmas before spoilers and seeing as we both have about 8 fitbits and 2 Arias this is about the worst possible present I could get him. Cancelled through the site and sent an email but curious how good their customer support is as I haven’t interacted with them before.

Mish

I’d buy from you to gift to someone. Let me know and I’ll figure out how to find you on swaps

Chadi, thank you for addressing Leah’s issue in a tactful manner.

I had another subscription box company try to shame me in the mysubscriptionaddiction comment section when I mentioned that I had been trying to get in contact with them for months. Needless to say, I am not a fan of that company, and let others know that their customer support department are a pack of horse’s behinds.

To you, however, I would like to say, “Well done”.

Tami

They have excellent customer support… You should have received an email already. I reached out twice and received responses within 4 hours each time

I was excited about the opener at first because my first thought was that it was an electric wine bottle or champagne opener, which is something I’ve always wanted. And the idea of that seemed fitting with the holiday season considering all the wine and bubbly that will be flowing. Kind of bummed to realize it’s a bottle opener. I carry one on my keychain that works fine. And since I already have a Fitbit Alta, I don’t have much use for the hero item. That’s not Breo’s fault of course. This is a solid box. But I bought it during the BTBF deal before the spoilers came out because I didn’t want to miss out on a good deal. But I kind of just learned the hard way that even a good deal can feel like a bad one if the items don’t really click with you. I’ll practice more restraint from now on.

I would love to receive this box. I am the only person in US that does not have a Fitbit. I love puzzles but agree it is not holiday themed. Of all the sub reviews I have looked at on MSA only one do I remember having a holiday theme. I was a little surprised. Wish there were more. Anyway, if anyone who does not like their box wants to give me theirs I will not object. I personally will use everything.

I like the mix of items in the box! The watch I can easily gift, the toothbrush holder is a huge win for me because I travel so much (I might try to swap for another), I don’t have a scale in my house (I use the one at the gym),the gloves will be put to good use by my teenage daughter (they look like nice quality) and I will probably gift the bottle opener to my son. The puzzle is really the only item I am confused about, but I will gift it to my nephew (if I get my box before the 18th).

Natalya

Quite disappointed with the box. Scale is nice, but I already own fitbit one, so this will either go for a swap or to my daughter. Watch is cute, but yet again I have fitbit blaze and all my friends and family are also either garmin or fitbit users, so have no real use for it. I could not cancel this box as I got annual subscription as a present from my BFF in summer for my BD and was hoping that other items would be at least somewhat festive given it is Holiday Season, but nothing screams holidays and coziness to me. Pretty bummed with the whole box. I would probably only keep gloves and the rest will be either up for swap or gifted…

I should have waited for the spoilers. Cancelling ASAP. I would use everything but I was hoping for a more fitness related box based on the first 2 spoilers.

Im not dissapointed just feeling underwhelmed.

@lizcadman, is the watch strap black or blue? The face bronze? Trying to see as I don’t see this one online. Would you be willing take a picture of the watch on?
Thank you!

My watch has a black face and a black strap. Unsure if there are variations.

I also received the icky blue toothbrush holder and mirror that will go in the garbage.

I really love this box and I already own a Withings (now Nokia) scale and smartwatch (that really is a watch). The curation on this this box is wonderful, really thoughtful coordination and I look forward to the next one already. FYI, this is my 1st box.

This box doesn’t wow me (only because I don’t need another smart watch) but I think my husband will like everything else in the box. I plan on gifting or swapping the smart watch and wrapping the rest up for Christmas. Deciding if I want to continue with my subscription since I get Robb Vices so hopefully the next spoiler is a good one to keep me. Overall, I think it was still a great box!

Maybe I’m in the minority but I really like this box. I already have a Weight Gurus blue-tooth scale that I love so I might give this one to my son, but I might keep it anyway – not sure. Anything included in the box that I don’t think I’ll personally use I know people who will love them as gifts. Breo Box has not disappointed me yet.

Reply ButtonReply

Erin

I was starting to feel like I was the only one who liked it!! I was surprised by the items and I’m looking forward to using it all, except for the watch since I already use Fitbit – so that will be gifted. I think this is one of their best boxes.

Jerilynn

I also subscribed with the Black friday deal and I find this box extremely disappointing. The value on the scale is inflated and except for the watch, the other items are interesting, but something that I might find the dollar store, particularly the mirror and the puzzle. I doubt I will stay subscribed with boxes like this. I think I will stick with Robb Vices despite all their issues.

Beth

Awesome! I’ll use everything.

I cancelled after the second spoiler, hoping the next box is more useful or fun for me.

I subscribed a few days ago based on the scale/watch spoilers and was hoping for more cool stuff. The Corkcicle is cool and I will happily gift to my son. Gloves are good too. The toothbrush holder and mirror are disappointing and unnecessary; the puzzle is a waste. I would rather have had one really nice item instead of the three cheapo ones. I’ll have to seriously reconsider whether I want to continue if this happens. I don’t want a bunch of inexpensive junky knickknacks.

Guess they can never match the summer box (which I missed… 😢)
Subbed when it had the btbf promo, now really regretted it.
Wear actual watch and fitbit daily, so no use for misfit.
Scale on sale for half off, which decrease the total greatly.
And who the hxxl pays $20 for a doodad that it’s only purpose is to open a beer bottle?!
Now I have to think what I can do with these items.
Sorry for being negative here, just my personal opinion. Been burned a lot by subs and merchants a lot recently…
Hope ppl who likes it really enjoys its content.

I would love to swap for a few of your items!

What an interesting and unexpected variety of items!! Well done, Breo!

Reply ButtonReply

Cat

Some of this stuff looks too much like filler items to me: the toothbrush holder, mirror and puzzle. Kinda corny and gimmicky IMO.

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

That’s what I was thinking!! It’s a weird hodgepodge of stuff. Why a toothbrush holder and mirror?? I can’t get over the $20 bottle opener either though. My $2 bottle opener never fails me lol. And the puzzle, I love puzzles but most people in this day and age don’t. But I don’t like the picture on the puzzle either. I was imaging something greater and cozier for winter.

Reply ButtonReply

Cat

Maybe these were the items on deepest discount at Aliexpress lol. It sure feels like it. And not a good move for a box priced at $139.

Aleks brēō box

Hi all!

Thank you so much for the feedback, we’ll definitely take this all into account.

One thing I can assure, the tooletries and corksicle are definitely not filler items and photos alone can’t do them justice; they’ll make much of an impact once you try them out 🙂

The tooletries is actually quite “high tech” in its proprietary design and how it adheres so well without any adhesives or suction cups and super low profile, minimalistic look.

The puzzle is also really cool, as it’s an artist rendering (notably, not season specific lol)

Hope this helps a bit, but please keep the feedback coming as it only helps us deliver a better product to you all!

Best,
Aleks

Leanetta Scott

I was waiting for the spoilers to see if I should get it because the first two spoilers the scale and Smartwatch I Love. But the other items I’m just like no. The puzzle is a maybe and the corkcicle seems okay. But I have no use for the other stuff or filler items.

Reply ButtonReply

Stef

You read my mind. Filler items was the first thing i thought of for mirror, toothbrush holder & puzzle. And i am a huge Breo fan, just this particular box didnt do it for me.
