Elizabeth & Clarke is a women’s clothing subscription box all about polished, cute tops. They began with the mission of perfecting and extrapolating on the idea of the plain white shirt—though you'll now find pops of classic colors in their designs, the company is still dedicated to creating stylish essentials that are versatile, high-quality, and affordable.
Elizabeth & Clarke only designs a limited amount of new tees, blouses, sweaters, and tops each season, so they are able to keep the prices very reasonable. Each season, you get to preview the tops and pick your favorites. There are usually three new tops and a few classic styles that return from collection to collection. They also offer an "Unstainable" collection, which is just what it sounds like—crisp, white tops made specifically to resist stains from all sorts of spills (including wine)!
Each season, you can pick the tops you'd like to receive, or leave it up to the folks at Elizabeth & Clarke to decide for you. If a size or style isn't quite right, you can always exchange or return the item. Returns and exchanges are free in the U.S.

Elizabeth & Clarke Winter Collection Review
Here's the invoice for the tops in the box. Just as an FYI, I'm usually between a size 6-8 (so, medium, basically) on top and a 36B. I've got relatively broad shoulders and hips to match, which can impact how things fit (especially at the hem). I'm also just 5' 3" if that helps you understand where and how things fall on me.
Here's the card for the Winter Collection, which has details about each top in the box.
Bancroft Top, Size 6
Most of my day-to-day wardrobe is black, gray, or denim, so this black top fits right in with my aesthetic! I like how comfortable this top is and how it's thicker—it feels perfect for winter (and the chilly offices that come with it). Not only is this top one of their Unstainable styles, but it also has a sweatproof lining. Plus it has cool faux-suede stripes down the front, back, and sleeves, which add a bit more visual interest. Very cool!
Quinn Top, Size 6
This top wasn't my favorite, but I'll totally keep it since it's sooo versatile. The cool gray color is very pretty, and I like that it's a little billowy. But the cut of the top ends up looking a little too shapeless on my frame, though it's cute tucked into a skirt or high-waisted pants. I just like outfits that give me more of a waist! But I also like Unstainable looks like this one, so this shirt is staying in my professional closet!
Collins Top, Size 6
Like Phil Collins? Lily Collins? Either way, I'm onboard. This top is a little trick—the collar and the hem of the shirt are the only parts that exist. (There's no rest of the shirt under there!) The knit is lightweight and breathable, but still cozy enough for those mornings before the office heating pops on. This top just feels so... me. It's a little casual, a little unisexy, and a breeze to wear. Oh, and the collar and hem are also Unstainable!
The Verdict: I'm a big fan of this Elizabeth & Clarke order! The looks are each super crisp and a little bit out of the ordinary. Even the most basic top, the Quinn, had a really fresh tone of gray and unique buttons that I'm not used to seeing. The Quinn didn't wow me like the others, but it's a versatile pick that I can dress up with jazzier other items (like patterned skirts and jackets). The best part about these looks? They're ALL machine washable!!! As someone who has to laundromat it, that's HUGE for me!
