Still haven’t received december box even though it shipped on the 6th. Anyone else with this problem?

After 3 emails, with mine also saying it shipped on the 6th, they said it was lost on the way to the post office. So they will be resending it, but who knows when that will happen.

Just received my box and it’s perfect for me. Other than the silicone thingee I will use every other item in the box. I can’t wait to try the curl enhancing lotion tomorrow. The bottle is huge so should last a while. I wish I hadn’t bought two other curl enhancing products earlier in the month from Sephora when they had the coupon. I received ballerina for the illuminating stick and it looks great on me. The eyeliner is more subtle than I expected so I will get more wear out of it. Another win. For the variation I received the eye shadow primer, which is probably the lowest RV of all but I’m happy because it’s the one item I would actually use of all of the items.
This was definitely my favorite month for Glossy as almost every item is a huge hit for me.

This is an almost perfect box for me. I love the smoothing hair product for my straight but sometimes frizzy hair, and also am especially happy the Laura Geller stick is a pretty pink, not red.
The light metallic eye liner was a pretty surprise to use.
I already have many silicone makeup applicators ( Amazon sells them in a multi-pack for next to nothing) but this one is plumper.. has no wrinkles like the others do.
All in all, I think this is a very high value box for my own use. I wasn’t around for the big fall out with GB, but know the feelings are honest and true.
I’m hoping 2018 will be a fun year with them.
Looking forward to my E and C jewelry now. 🙂

I am receiving my box today but, I’m a little disappointed that I ended up with the curling enhancing lotion instead of the grooming balm since I have straight hair:( I wish that when they decided to send out one or the other they had a better idea of people’s actual hair type.

Ugh. I have borderline kinky curly hair and they sent me the regular balm! Like what exactly was the point in filling out the beauty profile of they’re not gonna use it??!!!! Smells amazing, but I really DID wanna try out the curl enhancef! To be fair, 3 out of the 5 were homeruns (that eyeliner is pure magic for us 30-35 girls who don’t feel like glitter is appropriate but still wanna rock the glitter-liner cut crease look! I’m SO in love with it!) So I guess for the $10 I paid for the box, I DID get my money’s worth, but better I really wanted that curl enhancer. Oh well!! The mask and hair lotion have PLENTY of company in the ‘can’t use it’ box 😂

I loved my December Glossy box. I got the Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist I have been wanting to try that. The show grooming balm. The makeup drop I tried it and I know it is all the rave but really after several attempts not having any luck and seems to take longer to apply. I don’t like to spend to much time on application as I am busy.
The eyeliner was nice but found you can barely see it was hoping for a more dramatic look.
Wish there was a lippie in this box as I love lippies.
I know some of you love eyeshadow palettes but to be perfectly honest I have never used a eyeshadow down to the pan my friend used her complete one down to the pan it had 3 colors in it and took her 1.5 years wearing it 5 days a week. So kind of put that in in perspective. You can never use that much no matter how much you wear it and so many of the colors are similar. I am glad I received no eyeshadows. I have 6 Palettes and the colors overlap.
The Laura Gellar highlighter stick nice glad to receive it.
Overall it was a great box if there are 2 of the 5 products I love it is worth it to me. To be frank the price on some of this I would not pay. The eye drop make-up applicator was listed I think at 20.00 much less expensive one’s silicone is silicone.

It’s not about using the eyeshadows to the pan, it’s about having a variety of colors and trying different effects. For instance, I am considering getting the Urban Decay “Distortion” palette because I am attracted to the idea of being able to make any color holographic. For now I decided to wait until it goes on sale because I am by no means a makeup pro in any case. Giving myself more time to learn. 🙂
Otoh, if I had the approach similar to yours (not buying new makeup until I used up the old), I wouldn’t be drowning in product the way I am, lol. 😉

I *still* have not gotten a shipping confirmation email, nor does my box show up on my account. Every time I contact customer service they just say “it looks like you will be getting a December box!” But they won’t say when it will ship and I see no surveys or anything on my account. Does anyone else have experience with this?

GLOSSY BOX The worst subscription experience ever. I can’t believe they actually get away with what they are doing.
Totally caveat emptor! I went in with eyes wide open, even after reading some of the horrible reviews here but they had a three month $10 each box special. So I thought I’d be safe or special…LOL.
My December box was shipped on the 6th according to their email and here it is the 19th and still have not received. I called twice and was disconnected. The third time I pressed 1, for new orders, and actually spoke to someone right away!
When I explained that I hadn’t received my box she proceeded to tell me that they we require a hand signed document, that can only be submitted through their online messaging system! How can they do that? I don’t have a printer!
I ended up filing a paypal complaint because I want the box or at the very least my money back

Same here. This is so annoying. They didn’t require my signature when they took my money but then required it in order to investigate their own shipping process. Such bs. My credit card company had to take care of it.

Well I got my box today. I suppose I should feel lucky because I got variation 1, but I’m upset that I ended up with the curl enhancer instead of the grooming balm. My little magazine says I got the grooming balm but that’s not what I actually received. I have fine, straight hair, so the product I was most excited about receiving is now something I cannot use because they boxed the wrong item! 🙁 I guess I could swap but the shipping costs start to take away from the value of the box… bah. Not sure why everyone is so excited about the mist. What makes it so special? It’s just glorified water in a bottle as far as I’m concerned.

I think they are just excited about that brand or getting a higher RV. I looked up the ingredients, and several of them are irritating, so I suppose it’s just as well that I didn’t get the face mist. Hope I like the eyelid primer.

I’m getting variation 1 but it has been sitting in Sparks, Nevada waiting to transfer to USPS since the 12th at 8:00 am. I hope it moves soon. These couriers the sub boxes are using are awful. I rather deal with FedEx Smart Post than them.

My box says I am to receive variant #6, it shows the eye primer which I wanted however still no shipping. Just says status as pending. I usually have my box around this time. This is my last Glossybox they screwed me before and I gave them a second chance hoping it would be better.

Did you cancel your subscription today? It seems that, for those whose boxes haven’t shipped yet, canceling for January also means canceling for December.

I went in and cancelled so I wouldn’t be billed for January. The next thing I know they deleted my December box and gave me a refund. This is the first time I had trouble with them. I was down as variation 6. Maybe they ran out of products?

I am really sorry that this happened to you!! I don’t think that you are the only person who is experiencing this. I believe there is a post below where someone stated they cancelled earlier in the month and Glossybox refunded her for the December box that she had already paid for. I have been concerned about canceling for this reason. I received a shipping notification this afternoon but the tracking number is not active yet. After waiting as long as I possibly could, I cancelled less than an hour ago. All of my subscription info has disappeared from the Glossybox website now, so I don’t know what to expect. I hope they have truly already shipped my box, but I’m not entirely convinced until I see the tracking number active. I really really really want this box.
I take it you had not received a shipping confirmation when you cancelled? I have heard that their CS is awful, but if you really want the box, I would reach out to them and try to get the situation resolved. Best of luck, and let us know what happens.

I don’t know if this makes anyone feel better, but the mist is not full size. It’s more around the $30 range. The one in the box is 1fl while the $66 full size is 3fl.

I don’t understand all the complaints, I’ve been subscribing to beauty boxes for years. I was lucky enough to get in on the $10 deal and I received variation 1 with the face mist. every single item was full sized and I tried everything but the eyeliner today. I received the regular hair product which made my fine straight hair shiny and nice. I liked the makeup drop although I think I used too much foundation but it was a nice change from my brushes and beauty blender. The highlighter is beautiful, I received a nice pink sheen. The face mist was exactly what I was hoping for so I was so happy to receive it. Broken down though I received every full size item for $2 each. I’m ecstatic😊.

I’ve subscribed to a variety of subs for awhile myself. The problem is these boxes are coming out with tons of variations. I pay $21 for this box. This month I was lucky enough to get variation #1. But usually I have gotten the smaller items and ended up with 2 maybe 3 full size items in my box for $21. It’s happened every month. I even wrote CS about it and was told they want us all to try different products or they changed how many full size products were promised. It makes me feel like a second class citizen. No one wants to feel this way. It seems like it would be more work for the sub companies but obviously they are filling in with left over inventory on some items each month. Now Boxycharm is starting to do this and I’ve loved Boxycharm. So bummed about that. Fabfitfun seems to be a good one that only has a variety when it comes to colors but everyone gets the same thing. I don’t get popsugar but it’s probably the same as fff. That’s why everyone is upset. If you paid $21 and got a tiny, little pan of eyeshadow (which I got already) that is in a piece of cardboard and they are saying has an RV of $26 you might be upset. Especially, if others were getting the spray that you wanted!! Just my two cents😏

You hit the nail right on the head. I never complain on social forums, but just completed my “survey” for Glossybox for the this month. I also stated that while I am an annual subscriber who has been with Glossybox for a number of years paying the full rate, I am sick and tired of seeing those paying ten dollars a month for three months, then dumping Glossy getting the much coveted products. It is very disappointing, to say the least. Second class citizen, red headed step child, chopped liver, yes, all of those things. To add injury to insult, the top was off my hair care product this month, so you can just imagine what the box looked like when I opened it up! No point in even trying to contact CS, they really could care less. Very few options, just wait until this year is up, and then CANCEL, like everyone else.

Glad you got your box and excited for you on the full size products. I think that is part of some of the problem (not you getting all full size). When you start getting 6 variations for a monthly box some may get all full size, but others may get something totally different and the value may not be comparable. I wish sub box companies would have one identical box and if they want to have variation, let the customer choose between two choices, etc. Six variations for a $21 box is just a bit extreme especially since the monetary value may not be the same.
I love the makeup we get from Boxycharm, but when they moved to having a lot more variations it took the wind out of my sale so to speak.

I still can’t get over that Boxycharm box that had the Ofra body shimmer with an expiration date 6 months after the box. I was literally just stuck with a $40 item I couldn’t do anything with. It turned out to be unswappable, and I couldn’t sell something with such a close expiration date either.

If you go in to My Account –> Subscriptions/View All –> click on your current subscriptions –> There is is 🙂 Shows a thumbnail, order date, dispatched date, and payment amount. I’m not sure how accurate the thumbnails are, though.

Not that I know of. Last month my surveys didn’t show up until a few days after my box had shipped. My December box is still showing as “pending” and I don’t have any surveys yet.
Today is the 14th, the last day to cancel January’s box. I’m hoping my cancellation does not cause any hiccups with this month’s box. Was really hoping my box would ship before the 14th.

I am getting variation 7, and I have not received a notification yet, either. I check my account regularly and my order shows as pending, with no dispatch date. I was billed on 12/01. I am getting very impatient, I admit, and honestly a little unhappy with the range of variations of the final item. Ugh, the suspense, lol!

this “variation” thing is what drove me away from play!, & is one reason i stopped glossy, too…i pick up on glossy when those $10-a-box for 3 months subs are on sale…
i get 3, maybe 4 variations…but 6, 7…just makes for a lot of disappointment, and even resentment
i got tired of feeling like i always got an $70 box, when everybody else got a $125 box…took the fun out of it

Variation 2 includes the curling enhancer ($45), the illuminator in ballerina, and the eyeshadow primer ($18.50). It’s a great box with great value at $123.50, but nothing I will use. Everything is going up for swap. I often like glossybox, but I guess you win some and you lose some.

My box never came, and I never got a shipping email. So I logged on and it says my subscription has ended. But they only ever sent me 2 boxes out of a 3-month subscription. I sent them an email, but from what I hear their customer service is awful and I can probably kiss my money goodbye. /sadface
