Loved + Blessed December 2017 Review

loved and blessed booklet

This month’s Loved+Blessed theme is “Unique.”

There is a theme card that’s on the inside of the front lid of the box.

What Makes You Different Makes You Beautiful poster front

What Makes You Different Makes You Beautiful poster back

Mini Poster

This month’s mini poster says, “What Makes You Different Makes You Beautiful” and on the back, “you are fearfully and wonderfully made,” “Be You.” I appreciate this message to end the year with and a reminder that I am beautiful in what makes me different. A celebration of “me” is important and to always remember to be myself in everything I do.

Be you sticker

Reminder Sticker

This month’s reminder sticker says, “Be You.” The year has come to a close, and it’s good for me to recall on the past month’s and to be mindful of all I have done and the hurdles I have overcome and to continue to be myself.

1 Samuel 16:7 NLT scripture card

Scripture Card

The scripture for the month is from 1 Samuel 16:7 NLT, “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” As a community, we can look at the outward appearance of an individual and misjudge them but to take the example from this scripture and look at a person’s heart will enhance our interaction with them.

Druzy Quartz Necklace - Estimated Value $25.61?

This unique druzy quartz necklace comes in an organza bag perfect for gifting with the drawstring inscribed with “Love + Blessed.”  This stone is unique and new to me, the tiny crystals that sparkle on the stone make for a beautiful setting. The stone has a gold edge and gold chain, that’s about 11” long. I will look forward to wearing during the holiday season.

Mini Tote Bag - Estimated Value $6.00?

This mini tote bag has “Love + Blessed” inscribed on the front of the bag. I have an abundance of bags and seem not to use them all. The tote bag is cute and can be handy for holding a variety of items. I may store in my bathroom to hold my beauty products.

Love and Blessed Encouragement kit

Encouragement Kit

Loved + Blessed include an Encouragement Kit with every subscription box. I love the idea of an encouragement kit. It is meant to be passed on to a stranger or as an encouragement for someone I know. Love + Blessed encourages me to celebrate someone else’s uniqueness with a poem or heartfelt words on the blank card, share the theme card, titled “Unique,” and pass on the scripture card from 1 Samuel 16:7 NLT.

Verdict: This month’s box has an encouraging end of the year vibe, like all their past boxes. Their message “Unique” is a good way to remind me that I am beautiful, perfect the way I am and “never apologize for being yourself.” The box is $19.99 a month, including shipping; the value is worth it depending on the main item and its retail value. The two main items in this month’s box, the necklace, and the tote bag have an estimated value of $31.61. In my opinion, the cost shouldn’t matter if you desire to be encouraged spiritually.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, order by the 21st of each month to get the next month's box. If you sign up today, you will receive the January box.
