rise gold hoop earrings with rhinestone-studded beads

Rose Gold Hoop Earring with Rhinestone-Studded Beads

This is my third time receiving Monthly Jewelry Tree and so far my second pair of earrings. Although these are not something I'd pick out myself, I don't dislike them. I like the rose gold and am glad to see that there's a closure for the hoop by way of a hinged arm. I kinda messed up my pierced ears when I was very young by wearing insanely dangly earrings (it was the 80s!) that would catch on things. Without getting too graphic, my pierced ears are more of slits than holes these days and I rarely wear earring because of it.

rise gold hoop earrings with rhinestone-studded beads

While these aren't super heavy, they are still a bit heavier than I'd like from the matching rose gold bead that glides around on the hoop. It's covered with silver rhinestones which it a bit too much glitz for me. I think what I'll end up doing it remove the bead and rock these as plain hoops. Still worth the little over $5, in my opinion!

cotton gift bag with leaf print

The gift bag this month changed from the past two to this cream number with green leafy branches. Still cute! I'll be saving this to use to pack jewelry when traveling.

Verdict: This month has been the best Monthly Jewelry Tree for me since I realized I can minimalize the overly blingy earrings they sent me. It's a total crapshoot with this subscription, but luckily the cost is low enough that at the very least, you have a small gift to pass along (with gift bag).

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. This subscription is totally random so there is no guarantee what you will receive each month.

I loved big earrings in the late 80s / early 90s! Big & colorful!!
I couldn’t handle heavy ones though & never really got them caught on things – or not enough to affect my piercing luckily.

These earrings are cute – good to know that the ball can actually be taken off.
