Nicely Noted November 2017 Review
There's a brief intro note from Nicely Noted's founder, Perry.
Lewie Louise Color Theory Card - Estimated Value $5.00 (Buy a set of 4 of a similar card for $20)
This simple design is perfect for pretty much any occasion. I'm tempted to doodle on top of it myself, but it's beautifully minimal as is.
The inside is blank, so you can say whatever is on your mind.
Printerette Press Neon Congrats Card – Retail Value $5.50
Loving these neon colors in this Aztec-inspired card design!
Again, the inside is blank, so there is plenty of room for your own sentiments.
And the maker's info is on the back as well.
Alee Stacked Thank You Card - Retail Value $5
Another minimal design! I am a big fan of the artifacts and texture left in the printing process when letterpress printing big flat areas of color.
Looks like all three cards this month are blank inside. That suits me just fine!
More info about Alee is on the back of this card as well.
Postage Stamps – Retail Value $1.50
Each Nicely Noted package also comes with stamps to mail your letters! This is a small but nice touch and makes me so much more likely to send fun, unexpected mail because I'm totally 100% prepared.
Verdict: Nicely Noted is a lovely little subscription if you love to send real mail, like to support independent artists, or if you like letterpress cards in particular. In my case: I love letterpress cards and the only shop that sells them near me is on the other side of town, so I don't get to pick them up as often as I'd like... this subscription is perfect for making sure I always have the appropriate card on hand and encouraging me to send more mail in general!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the January box.

Value Breakdown: For $20, we got $17 worth of stamps and cards. Considering I'd usually have to pay shipping if I purchased these items myself online, this seems pretty reasonable for the curated little collections that Nicely Noted ships out.
