An information card was provided listing every item in the box and some reasoning as to how the item will benefit your child as well as some tips on using the items.

Lollipopter out of the box

Lollipopter - Retail Value $25.00

What a stunning toy! The Lollipopter was very easy to put together. Just take the colorful top part and stick it into the white cylindrical base. Give the stem a spin and the colorful “lollipops” fan out. This toy is a great stress reliever and looks stunning on your desk or coffee table too.

Spaghetti Chewy Fidget

Spaghetti Chewy Fidget - Retail Value $14.99

This fidget is ideal for kids who need to chew and bite for stimulation. It is made of pieces of tubing knotted together and comes with a clip so that it can be attached to a bag, belt or clothing. If you don’t want to use this as a chewing fidget it can also be used as a hand fidget by pulling, twirling and braiding the tubes for relaxation.

Flashing Neutron Ball

Flashing Neutron Ball - Retail Value $3.50

This fun ball flashes different colors when bounced. The nubby textures are a great silent fidget and the changing colors make it soothing to hold and watch as well. It’s about 3 inches in diameter and a ton of fun to play with in the dark. My kids have been enjoying it very much.

Pop Head Turtle

Pop Head Turtle – Listed Value $4.99

I’m having trouble finding this same turtle for sale online so I’m using the card’s listed value. When you squeeze the turtle’s body (as I’m doing in the second photo) the head and neck pop out of the shell. This is a great silent stress relieving toy to squeeze when feeling anxious or upset.

Melissa and Doug Tape Activity Book book closed

Melissa and Doug Tape Activity Book – Retail Value $4.99

My daughter loves all kinds of craft and activity books. She was so excited to see this book. It comes with four rolls of tape in red, yellow, blue and green and a spiral bound book. Each page of the book has a picture with white stripes which you are supposed to cover with strips of tape. The ripping and smoothing of the tape strips is relaxing for her and it also helps build fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Verdict: This was a one of our favorite Sensory TheraPlay Boxes. This box is especially geared towards children on the Autism spectrum or with sensory issues it’s also for “kiddos with emotional disturbance (e.g., hyperactivity, impulsivity, excessive anxiety, temper tantrums, poor coping skills).” My children were able to enjoy the items’ different textures and benefit from the stress-relieving components as well. We think this box is always so much fun! The retail value was over $53.00 this month which is above the cost of the box ($39.95 plus shipping). I highly recommend this box to educators, therapists and parents.

I found this box a few months ago and it has been wonderful to find things for my son to play and fidget with. He was recently diagnosed with being on the autism spectrum and it can be overwhelming at times to find toys and calming objects. I highly recommend this box to any parent of a child with autism or any sensory issues!

This would be a great box for my students. I work in special education and this would be such a great resource. Unfortunately, with a teachers salary, I just cannot afford it. Maybe one day!

You might contact them anyway. Maybe they would donate a box or else give you a demo one hoping you would show the kids parents.
