Honest Diapers & Wipes December 2017 Review
Honest Company Diaper Bundles are always huge since they have enough (or more than enough) for a month! Here's what I got in my October delivery, in the photo above.
If you're not familiar with this subscription, here are the basics: You always get 6 packs of diapers and 4 packs of wipes each month. For the diapers, you can select your favorite patterns, and Honest will randomly pick for you depending on what's available. You can swap in Overnight Diapers or Pull-Up style diapers for any of the 6 packs. You can even change the size on just some of the diapers, and you can also add on extra products for a 25% discount. (Plus, they occasionally have subscriber perks, like free items you can add on!)

Multi Colored Giraffes
This was the one print that I received in two sizes: NB and 1. My son is currently 9 pounds, so NB is still working well for him. However, I know that he'll graduate to size 1's any day now, so I decided to throw a larger pack of diapers into the mix. Hopefully, you can get a good idea of the size difference in the photo.
Arctic Foxes
Ahh, the new A Winter Story collection is so cute! This print is super whimsical, and I love its soft colors. The foxes and pretty botanical details on this one almost feel like an illustration from a really beautiful fairytale book.
The Great Adventure
This print is a collab with The Great, whose founders are friends/stylists of Jessica Alba’s (the founder of Honest Company). It features a really cool camping theme complete with trees, tents, and primary colors. I love this type of print and its one that I would love to see on a onesie or something! It sort of has a Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom thing happening, no?
Painted Feather
This print also has that "indie" feel, and I love its gorgeous shades of coral, teal, purple, and yellow. So pretty! Though I'm fairly new to The Honest Company, I've seen this print on their website for the past several weeks as I selected my favorites for each bundle. I hope it'll stick around for summer -- this would be a great one for warmer months.
Breakfast
Another somewhat evergreen print, this adorable mix of breakfast foods and drinks is really fun. I especially get a kick out of it as I change a diaper in the early hours of the morning. Really makes me look forward to that first cup of coffee!
4 pack of Honest Wipes – Retail Value $18.95 ($4.95 individually)
These wipes are really wonderful. They have a gentle, natural scent that's not too overpowering and their material is just substantial enough to do a good job with clean-up. No complaints! I'm still trying out different brands (new mom alert -- my son is only 5 weeks), but I'm hoping to report back on favorites as I gain more experience with competitors' wipes as well.
At first, I thought that 4 packs seemed a little excessive. However, now that I'm in the thick of it with around-the-clock diaper changes, I'm quickly learning that I'll go through these in no time. It's great that they're included in the bundle.
Verdict: This subscription has been incredible during the first few weeks with my son. As a new and slightly overwhelmed mom, it was so convenient to receive a bulk order of both diapers and wipes all at once and without having to venture outside for more. Plus, the cute prints make me so happy each time I open my changing table drawer. I also love that their prints are all unisex — nothing overtly blue/pink or covered in cutesy or ultra gendered objects.
These diapers are soft, sturdy, and secure. Now that I have a few weeks with them (and have experienced several blowouts and full diapers!), I can say that I prefer them to store brands I've tried. I love that you are able to mix and match sizes and choose your prints, also, for total personalization. Add-ons for products like soap and detergent are also available, making the full experience really customizable. Overall, I'm so excited to continue using Honest Company products and testing their performance against different brands.
