The Ms. Collection is an unlimited clothing rental subscription. Your stylist puts a pack together based on your style profile and you keep it for as long as you like (1 day, 2 months, any length of time). When you are done wearing those pieces you send them back in the included pre-paid envelope and another pack will be put together and sent to you. You have an unlimited number of packs per month and you have the option of buying any of the pieces you love.
The Ms. Collection has a Ms. Play ($49 a month for everyday/casual), Ms. Business ($59 a month for business casual/formal), and Ms. Combo ($113 a month for a combo of both plans). They also have The Mr. Collection for men.

Each pack will include 3-4 pieces of quality, designer, casual clothing for your everyday look. When you sign up, you answer questions about your style (size, colors, patterns, clothing type, etc.). An actual stylist puts your pack together so, even though your pieces are a surprise, they should work for you. You can leave feedback for your stylist to help make your next pack even better.

Ms. Collection Ms. Play December 2017 Review
This is my first pack of The Ms. Collection so let’s see what my stylist picked for me:
In my first pack, I received a welcome note and an info card. The info card includes some instructions for the pack, a handwritten note from my stylist, and the retail value and member price.
First up is an outfit with two of the pieces.
THML Striped Top, Size M - Retail Value $72.50, Member Price $65.25
This cute peplum top is made of a thick, soft cotton top half and pleated chambray lower half. Everything is one piece so you get a layered look without any hassle. I probably wouldn’t have picked this for myself because of the horizontal stripes, but I think it is super cute. It is perfect for wearing to work and super comfortable. The peplum shape gives it a little sass without adding extra bulk.
There is a cute zipper detail at the back of the neckline.
Mavi Jeans, Size 29 - Retail Value $118, Member Price $106.20
I LOVE these jeans. Like, LOVE. They are high rise (hit just below my belly button) and are soft, stretchy, and super comfortable. They are skinny cut but not too tight. I don’t have to wiggle around to get back into them after standing up and they cover my whole butt when I sit. Yes! I actually have worn them several times because they fit better than any of my other jeans. I’m sure I’ll be requesting them for future packs.
See, full coverage and no unflattering cutting in on my hip. Plus the pockets are simple and well-placed. I never like when my pockets look like they are sliding down my thighs.
Michael Stars Cold Shoulder Top, One Size - Retail Value $78, Member Price $62.40
This nude/blush color top is one size fits all, which is probably true since it is made of super stretchy, ribbed rayon/lycra fabric. The cold shoulder cut outs sit at a good spot for me, covering up bra straps and armpits (two things I don’t love to show). The area around my midsection is a little weird because it needs to be scrunched up to be the right length. I attribute this to it being OS. For someone with a longer torso, it might be the perfect length.
BB Dakota Swing Dress, Size M - Retail Value $100, Member Price $90
This is the dress my stylist mentioned in her note to me. She said it would be great for holiday parties and she was right! It is made of a double layer chiffon in a cranberry red. The top layer has little shimmery pieces woven in. The swing cut is so cute with tights and boots and allows me to eat as much as I want! I can see this being flattering for so many body types.
The cuffed ¾ length sleeve is perfect for showing off sparkly bracelets.
My only negative to this dress is that it lacks a little shape from the side angle. I think this is captured more in this photo because none of my friends shared my concern in person. They thought it looked good.
About Returns:
Each pack includes a pre-paid return envelope. When you are done with your pieces, just pop them in here and drop it off at the post office. The Ms. Collection will process your return and get a new pack out to you within a few days. (If you are purchasing anything, just leave them out of your return package.)
A note about cleaning: You don’t have to clean the pieces before sending them back. The Ms. Collection has everything cleaned once the pieces are returned. I didn’t notice any smell (including fragranced detergent which is good for those with sensitive skin), stains, or signs of wear. Actually, everything was in perfect condition!
The Verdict: I wasn’t sure that I’d like a clothing rental box, but I really liked my first pack. The pieces were great for me, plus they all fit, and I like that I can send them back without worrying about having them cleaned. One big draw for me is being able to wear clothing that costs more than I would typically spend, especially for dressier outfits that I might wear once. If I planned well, I could return/receive several packs a month and essentially have a never ending new closet. Just this pack alone was worth $368.50, and for a cost of $49 with free shipping, I think it is a great deal. Now, I just have to be able to let go of the clothes and send them back so I can get my next pack.
