December 2017 Vinyl Me, Please Review

The December shipment features a pressing of one of Miles Davis' classics - Sorcerer.

Each delivery comes with a cocktail mix to accompany the music and a foreword from the Vinyl Me, Please team.

It's also accompanied by an LP-size piece of artwork.

Miles Davis - Sorcerer

Sorcerer is the third of 5 albums from the Miles Davis Quintet - this is the basis for a ton of modern day artists, and you can hear why as you sit down to listen to this fantastic piece of jazz.

It arrives on this beautiful pink exclusive pressing with the classic Columbia label.

It also comes with this exclusive booklet that details the creation of this album. Even just the looks of this booklet are really striking - it goes well with the vibes of the album.

I think, even if you've never listened to Miles Davis, you probably have an idea of what the music would sound like. Miles is one of the most influential figures of jazz - and this album does that legacy justice - get this spinning and take it easy!

Verdict: After a few month's of new releases, it was nice to take a step back and revisit such a massive and influential artist! As a collector and vinyl listener, I have loved every month of this subscription - whether I had already known the album and artist or not!
