Now, on to the items!

Fringed Crochet Poncho - Retail Value $24

(Subscribers will receive this in either white or black.)

This poncho is a soft knit, 100% acrylic, with sparkly sequins throughout. Here it is on:

To be honest, this just doesn't feel like my style. But I tried modeling it for you anyway! 🙂

Hello Lovely Necklace - Retail Value $19

This necklace reminds me of my favorite Kendra Scott pieces from POPSUGAR Must Have!

The necklace measures 16 inches long with a 2-inch extension.

The piece is made of zinc, alloy, rhinestone, and iron. Here it is on the longest length:

And the shortest length:

I love delicate gold jewelry, so this piece is a win for me!

Abbott Collection Tea Light Holders - Retail Value $19

These tea light holders came with tea with tea light candles, too!

The vessels are filled with little sparkly gems, so it looks beautiful when lit!

Barefoot Venus Ginger Snap Creamy Cleansing Wash - Retail Value $5.50

This is a creamy cleanser that is gentle on your skin, plus the light ginger snap fragrance is amazing!

Real Treat Gluten-Free Spiced Pecan Shortbread Cookies - Retail Value $8

These cookies are organic, gluten-free, sweet, and buttery!

They don't look too good in the plastic bag, but they tasted great!

Lindt Lindor Chocolates - Bonus

And there were some bonus chocolates in this box, too!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $75.50 US dollars. Considering the US price is around $54.99 a box shipped, I think that's a good value for a box shipped from a different country. I'm happy with the mix of items, and I don't feel like any of the values were inflated either. The poncho isn't for me, but everything else in the box works, and the poncho will be a nice gift.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. As of today (12/28), your first box would be the February Box.

Coupon – no coupons available for this subscription.

Value Breakdown: At $54.99 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Poncho: $17.48
  • Necklace: $13.84
  • Candle Set: $13.84
  • Cleanser: $4.00
  • Cookies: $5.83

Cancelled this sub when they changed the pricing model. Never looked back. Love the packaging but often swapped the contents. Not missing anything.

I usually wish I had gotten WW, but never took the dive. This is the first month I’m ok missing, but I’m sure someone else loves it.

Well, like all sub boxes, it’s a matter of what the subscriber likes, and I LIKE this box! I never swap anything from it. The necklace is quite lovely and the shower gel divine. As far as the poncho, I don’t see a great deal of difference between it and the Hatattack one I got in my Fall PSLE. It’s white, soft, glittery and I will wear it this winter until the poncho trend is over, and then be done with it. I’m happy. I plan to let my FFF and PS subs run out, mugs with sayings and gymbags with the same, are not my thing, and keep my White Willow. That’s the beauty and challenge of sub boxes, finding one you love that makes you happy!

For a considerably sub-PSMH or FFF price point, this could work. Say, if they priced this at $30 I think they could have something that works. At this current price? Unfortunately, they’ll never find a loyal subscriber base. If I just compare the quantity and quality in a FFF box or in most PS boxes to this… well, you get better quality items with higher value in other boxes.

For CAD$30 and free shipping I’d keep it, but not for CAD$65.

This was my first box. I so wanted to love it, but I couldn’t. A no name acrylic poncho, a necklace from a wholesale company, candle holders from China, crushed cookies and a small shower gel for quite a lot of money. The packaging and presentation are beautiful, but I don’t feel like I get value for my money… I’ll stick to their limited edition boxes.

Yes, the tealight holders look like something you could get in a drugstore here.

Pretty much everything does…

Oh wow. Not to me and I’m a consistent shopper of Neiman’s. They are pretty. Wish I could post a photo of them on my Italian antique nesting tables. They look lovely. I also liked the necklace. And it’s my only poncho, but I’ve already worn it over a cream cashmere sweater and received so many compliments. To each his/her own, I guess. 🙂 I really enjoyed this box.
