Just as a heads up, I'm a 36B bra, a size medium top, and a large in bottoms (I wear about a size 10 in jeans). I'm also only 5' 3", so I'm on the shorter side.
Sadhana Marce Sports Bra, Size Medium - Retail Value $55.00 (Found here for $49.00)
This bra felt a little tight. It's 12% elastic, 88% nylon, but it doesn't have as much stretch as other sports bras I've tried. It's nice that it feels really secure, but a bummer that it looks and feels sort of suffocating. I think a size large would work well for me, so long as the bikini-style cups don't get too much larger, too. The plunging cut isn't my favorite, but again, I don't feel like I'm going to fall out of it or anything (which is usually my reasoning for not buying that cut). I like the strappy details, though I worry that, especially given how tight the bra is, the front peekaboo detail looks a bit too much like a seam ripping. A larger size would help that, though!
Alternative Apparel Printed Go-To Legging in Khaki Camo, Size Large - Retail Value $54.00
These leggings, which are 53% cotton, 39% modal, and 8% spandex, feel like something I'd wear around the house or as part of a weekend-errands outfit, rather than something I'd wear to workout in. The combination of cotton and modal makes for a really smooth, lightweight feel. It's been awhile since I've bought anything camo-print, but I like it! I could see wearing these out and about with a black trapeze-cut t-shirt dress, or with a loose pullover for a bit of at-home stretching/meditating.
Skechers Performance Flurry Jacket, Size Medium - Retail Value $50.00 (Found here for $25.00)
Skechers makes clothes now? Cool! This jacket is really nice. It's 88% polyester and 12% spandex, with a smooth exterior and slightly fleece-y inside. There are slim pockets on the front and a handy hood on the back. I think the best part is how long the sleeves were on me. No thumbholes on this jacket, but the long sleeves are easy to tuck my chilly hands up into.
The Verdict: I think this was a pretty successful YogaClub box! The bra wasn't quite right for me, but the jacket and leggings are great. I'm excited to know that Skechers has workout apparel now—and that I really like it! (Skechers, you've come a long way since that pair of thick-soled holographic sneakers I owned back in middle school!) At first, I was a little thrown off that the leggings weren't as "performance"-ish as the leggings I'm used to getting from this subscription, but I actually like that bit of variety. After all, I love wearing leggings outside of the gym, too. And I appreciate how each shipment helps me explore new brands.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Everyone's box is curated to fit their specific style, needs, and size, so what I got in my box this month might be different than what you get. But that also means you might get something that you love even more! Get started here.
Value Breakdown: This box cost me $84.00 (the cost of the box, plus U.S. shipping), but I estimate I got $159.00 worth of product inside. That means that proportionally, I paid approximately the following for each item:
- Bra - $29.06
- Leggings - $28.53
- Jacket - $26.42
