Now, on to the items!

Lancer Skincare Volume Enhancing Lip Serum – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $42

This lip treatment is designed to reduce the look of vertical lip lines, define lip contours, and provide hydration for plumper-looking lips. I'm always worried that lip plumping products will irritate my lips to get the plumping effect, but this formula feels cool going on thanks to the metal applicator tip, and it has a slight tingling feeling - nothing annoying.

It's super hydrating, and it provides a glossy (non-sticky) finish. I can't say that my lips look any larger, but they look hydrated and shiny - I'm happy!

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads – (28 Count) Retail Value $15

If you aren't familiar with First Aid Beauty facial radiance pads, they're a bit of a beauty cult classic!

The pads are formulated with the right amount of lactic and glycolic acid so that you can use them every day. They're great for exfoliating, toning, and brightening skin - even on sensitive skin! (I think these are a great item to include in a winter box, too. My dry skin definitely needs some daily gentle exfoliation!)

Trufora Triple Action Exfoliator - 15 ml Value $11.25

And speaking of gentle exfoliation, we also have this Triple Action Exfoliator! If you like a super fine particle exfoliation, this product's for you. It combines chemical exfoliation (AHAs and BHAs), and physical exfoliation (bamboo extract).

You leave it on damp skin for 5 minutes, then massage for 30 seconds and remove. Or for a deeper exfoliation, you can leave it on for up to 15 minutes as a mask. I loved how soft it made my skin feel instantly, and the creamy formula is fab, too. (And the sample is a decent size!)

Juliette Has A Gun Not a Perfume Eau de Parfum - 5.5 ml Retail Value $15

I'm not a big perfume wearer, so I'm not really happy to see perfume samples in boxes, but I have to give Beauty Fix props for including a travel size purse spray, and not the typical sample vial.

This perfume is made of a single ingredient, (cetalox) and has an elegant, pure, spicy scent that is allergen-free.

Erno Laszlo White Marble Double Cleanse Mini Travel Set

How cute is this little travel set? (FYI it is TINY, but should last for a few days.)

Erno Laszlo White Marble Cleansing Oil - 15 ml Value $4.46

Both this and the soap bar smell so fresh and clean! This is a light foaming cleansing oil that is great for removing makeup and it didn't dry my skin out at all.

Erno Laszlo White Marble Treatment Bar - 17 g Value $6.46

And to complete the double-cleanse you have this soap bar! It's just as gentle as the oil, creamy, and designed to help even skin tone.

Bioderma Hydrabio Serum - 5 ml Value $3.11

This lightweight gel serum is designed for dry and sensitive skin. It absorbs almost instantly and provides great hydration, too. (The downside? This sample is mostly air.)

Bioderma Hydrabio Cream - 5 ml Value $3.11

This is gentle just like the serum, but even more hydrating. It's a perfect skincare duo, I just wish the samples were larger.

Lilah B. Divine Duo Lip & Cheek Sampler Card - Value?

(Since this is a sampler card with no sizes listed, I'm not going to give it a value.)

Sample size issues aside Lilah B. is a great (and pricey) ingredient-conscious beauty brand. And I love that these formulas are multi-purpose. The finish is highly-pigmented, creamy, and matte. I personally love the b. real (lightest shade) as a creamy blush.

Here are all three shades swatched:

(b. real, b. fearless, and b. sassy)

Eminence Organic Skin Care Bamboo Firming Fluid - 2 ml Value $3.31

Bah, more tiny samples! This serum is designed to boost collagen + skin firmness with natural retinol alternatives. The packet claims that some people saw firming results in as little as 5 minutes. (I did not.) But the formula felt light and fabulous on my skin. I just wish the sample was larger so I could see some results over a few weeks!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $103.70. (Not counting the value of the lip/cheek duo card.) That's a great value for a $24.95 box, and this is an impressive skincare box. Even though some of the samples were small (which is typical for this box), the Lancer, First Aid Beauty, and Trufora definitely make it worth the cost for me.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, the next box available will be the January box.

Value Breakdown: At $24.95 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Lancer Lip Treatment: $10.11
  • FAB Radiance Pads: $3.61
  • Trufora: $2.71
  • Perfume: $3.61
  • Erno Laszlo Kit: $2.63
  • Serum: $.75
  • Cream: $.75
  • Firming Fluid: $.79

If anyone is throwing away their foil packet of the bamboo serum away, I’m happy to send you a self-addressed stamped envelope for it 😊 I loved the way it felt on my skin.

I think its fantastic. I found it on sale at Amazon for $42. Regular price is $58. So that was a good savings. Been using for a week now and hooked.

I really enjoyed this box, the FAB pads are my favorite and it was a reminder that I had run out and needed more! I gave the Lancer as part of a Christmas gift. I’ve tried the Erno Lanzo before so I am waiting to bring it while traveling! Great box.

I like the variety, but I just throw out tiny samples. As another member mentioned…it takes more than one application to make any difference with skincare. Who is making the decision to promote their product with one application? I don’t want to be negative, but I am wondering what their IQs are.

The eminence bamboo fluid serum was indeed very tiny to see any results but the feeling of it on my skin was superb. It felt different than the other serums I tried in the past. Very velvety texture and absorbs instantly without leaving any sticky residue. It felt so soft on my skin all day. I was surprised how a tiny size sample could impress me so much.

I loved the box but didn’t care for the serum , which made my skin sticky which was odd, the color card I disliked bc it dries up and then I can’t use after the first try. Also the bamboo foil packet sucked bc how the heck are we supposed to get results with such a tiny ass sample? Starting to get frustrated with BeautyFIX and this was my top 3 box . They give me more of that I’m unsubscribing for sure lol.

I save the little compacts that are sent with single use eye shadows or any type of tiny pots that usually come with various creams, gels, etc. The eyeshadow duct
itself is moved to a z palette and the tiny pots usually contain prothat I am able to use up fairly quickly. When I get a lipstick card sample, I just put each color into the empty receptacles. It stays fresh and each color can be used multiple times.

Thanks for the tip on how to use the lipstick card sample. I’m about to finish a full-sized lipstick (I only focus on one at a time, then move on to another lip product), and I thought I’d use up some of these lipstick sample pods I’ve accumulated before moving on to another full-sized lip product. My original plan was to just keep the backing on & clip it closed, but I know some air could still get into it. I didn’t think to use little sample containers though. 🙂 I have a few from Sephora saved, so I think I’ll use those.

Wow. That reply had some weird thing happening. “Eyeshadow duct” should have been just “eyeshadow.” “Prothat” should have been “product.”

Love the Lancer, FAB radiance pads and Trufora. The rest of the stuff went into my gifting box. BF is one of the boxes I won’t give up because they always have a couple really great skincare items each month.

Totally agree. I’m keeping bc they have great skin care item every month but man do they have some strange missed this month!

The Erno Lazo Bar soap is the best. But when I did Master Classes at Nordstrom I taught a way to use the soap differently. I would get a bowl of warm/hot water and a towel. I would put the towel over my head and put my face over the hot, warm steamy water. I would wash my face with the soap and then I did the 30-50 splashes on my face with the bowl soapy water. After the bowl splashes, I would run the water warm/cool and splash my face 20 more times with the running water. Pat skin dry and Omg, the results were amazing.

Thanks Bella01, this sounds like the kind of deep cleansing I like. Spending a little extra time pampering my skin gives me a great payoff, especially in winter.
I’ve wanted to try the Erno Lazo soap for ages, and this is the perfect trial size! I’m going to use your method-Thks!

I normally use another brand of radiance facial pads, but this First Aid product is nice- and very mild. I always cut my pads in half which makes my purchase last longer. I also flip the jar upside down every other day to keep all the pads equally saturated.

I actually prefer really compact Lippie samples rather than a small tube because I know within 1 application if the product is for me. Super sensitive lips and a hound dog nose… means weirdly scented lipsticks and anything too drying is tossed pronto.

This is a great sub for me- I’ll take the small samples too without complaining because Beauty Fix makes sure you get more than your $$ worth every month.

That sounds nice. I’m going to try it tonight. I like a really deep cleanse.

T.Marie

Sometimes I use an exfoliate and barely get all the grit off my face with a couple wipes and a splash. Someone would have to do that TO me lol

Ash

That sounds like way too much work.

Loved December’s box, it was a great mix. I’m putting my sub on pause for now and it was a good last box 🙂
