Now, on to the items!

Avene RetrinAL .1 Intensive Cream  – FULL SIZE! Value $70

This item alone makes the whole box worth the cost in my opinion! Avene is a lovely skincare brand, and I'm thrilled to get a full-sized skincare product from them!

First, good news if you have sensitive skin, and/or need to avoid certain ingredients. This formula is Hypoallergenic, Non-Comedogenic, Fragrance-Free, Soap-Free, Paraben-Free, Soy-Free, and Gluten-Free!

It's made with a Retinol-alternative (Retinaldehyde), and designed to plump skin, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, and brighten skin. It felt great on my skin and absorbed quickly - this is now part of my nightly beauty routine!

Alterna Caviar Miracle Multiplying Volume Mist – 1.4 oz Value $8.15

I LOVE the Alterna product line (their formulas smell fantastic and are free of parabens, phthalates, and sulfates.) So, I was excited to try this. (Plus I can always use more hair volume.)

This spray worked well for my hair. It’s lightweight, and it added enough texture that my hair had more shape, but I could still run my fingers through my hair. (I’m guessing if I overdid it on spraying, that wouldn’t be the case, though.) I’d recommend this if you are looking for some additional subtle volume but still want a natural look and feel.

Lip Quench – FULL SIZE! Value $12

This lip gloss has just a hint of pale pink color, a little shimmer, and some shine, too. (Attempted swatch below.)

It also has a fab tropical fruit flavor! It’s a tad on the sticky side, but the formula still works for me.

Jouer Highlighter in Tiare - 1 g Value $11

FYI - this comes attached to a card, so I thought it would be a one-time-use sample, but it is easy to remove and is a great travel-size standalone product with a magnetic lid closure. (It's half the size of the full-size version!)

I've sampled a lot of highlighters thanks to subscription boxes, and this might be my favorite one yet. It's a creamy formula, that blends beautifully, and gives a perfect subtle glow. (No sparkle). Here it is swatched beneath the lip quench:

(You can barely see this Lip Quench in this picture, as I mentioned above, it is a very subtle pink tint.)

Yuni Shower Sheet - Value $1.25

This ingredient-conscious shower wipe is great to store in your purse or gym bag for a post-workout refresh. The natural scent is refreshing, and the wipe is large (14 inches long.)

SkinMedica Dermal Repair Cream - .13 oz Value $9.86

This cream is designed to provide intense hydration and help repair sun-damaged skin and reduce age spots. I loved that the rich cream absorbed quickly with a matte finish and that this sample tube is completely full, but I wish the formula didn't have added fragrance. (It fades pretty quickly, though.)

Skin & Co Truffle Therapy Serum – 5 ml Value $11.70

This serum is designed to help brighten and hydrate skin. I didn’t notice any instant results, and the sample isn’t large enough to try it over a few weeks, but I can tell you that the lightweight formula is gentle!

Verdict: This box has a value of about $123.96! That's a great value for a $24.95 box! I really like everything in this box, and the two standout products for me are the Avene cream and the Jouer highlighter.

How do I sign up for the next box? It says sold out.

So my hair mist spilled all over my box and all the papers were stuck together. Called customer service and they are shipping me a replacement box. It was a long wait on hold and the whole conversation lasted 45 seconds. Well worth the wait.

Did anyone else get a cancellation notice from them this month without requesting to be cancelled? I know my card is fine and I’ve been subscribed for months so I’m a bit confused as to how it happened. I emailed customer service just curious if anyone else experienced this.

Yes that happened to me in December. Got an email “per your request, your BeautyFix subscription has been cancelled.” Say what? I didn’t request to cancel but when I saw the Dec box, I wasn’t mad lol. I let that Meh box sub stay cancelled. This Jan box looks good though so I sub’d again.

I’m on hold with them now – I didn’t get a cancellation notice but I just received the JULY 2017 BOX instead of January – you can bet I will hold as long as it takes…… what is going on?? 🙁

I think you will be fine Wendy – they are sending me the January box and I get to keep the July one – worth the hold – they really do have the very best customer service!!! 🙂

This months box is great. I’m trying the Avene for the first time and am excited that it’s full size so I can really use it for a while and see what I think.

I’ve used multiple products from the Truffle Therapy line by Skin & Co and never saw any noticeable improvement in my skin, so that’s one for the giveaway pile…

I already know I’m going to order additional Yuni Shower Sheets as the reviews are pretty good, and as someone who travels by air frequently, I’m preparing myself if I get stuck in an airport with a long delay for bad weather.

I too thought the Jouer would be a paper type single use item, but this small one is great!

For me right now, this box is perfect.

Nice review too- Thanks!

It didn’t let me apply the code AVENEMSA (said “invalid code”) at the BeautyFix checkout for $24.95 monthly subscription. Tried several times. But it allowed my 2nd choice REPLENIXMSA so that’s okay. Perhaps the Avene one had been used up by too many people by the time I ordered.

I just ordered 2 lip balms and the Jouer in Champagne. An extra for the purse and desk. Beautyfix is the best!

Vanessa

That lip balm is my new favorite, I can’t believe how fast it worked and really hydrated my lips! I really enjoyed this box.

Aileen

I agree! I was surprised how great the lip balm is! It also continued to moisturiz my lips for a long time unlike some other ones I tried.

I have an overload of skincare products, so I cancelled this subscription. When up work my way through some of my stock I plan on resubscribing. It’s a great box, always worth the money.

Ah I cancelled as well and am having serious FOMO.

I love this month’s box!

But sadly I have to refrain due to budget constraints this month!

Boy would I like to see both your skincare/beauty hauls!

I’ve only been sub boxing for a few months so no over supply yet, but quickly getting there.

I’d love to see a post of a sub box addict’s massive product pile.

Claudia

I have subbed to and cancelled so many subscriptions over the last three years I can’t even keep track anymore. It just occurred to me that Beauty fix is the only sub that I’ve had faithfully the entire time. With the exception of maybe twice, there’s always something in this box that I’m going to love.

I’m loving all of it. It’s amazing products, and the lip quench , AvenE and skin and co. Would have to be my all time favorites! Out of this box. My lips have been super dehydrated and this hit the spot for me . And I’ve been out of serums like always so I’m excited about the fact that they gave me some in the box so I’m in love with beautyfix yet again!!

My box came without the Alterna product so I chatted with their Customer Service Rep to let them know. They dispatched an order for if right away. I would have to say that Beautyfix and FabFitFun have the best customer service representatives.
