New year, new subscription boxes to love! These up-and-coming subscriptions have made a fab first impression on us, and we're betting they'll really hit it big in 2018. Get ahead of the trends and sign up now!

The Best New Subscription Boxes

A fresh batch of boxes has hit the scene! Which of these subscriptions do you think YOU might try in 2018:

ann taylor infinite style jacket and skirt laydown

1. Infinite Style by Ann Taylor

The Cost: $95.00 per month + free US shipping

What is Infinite Style?: Ann Taylor is getting into the clothing rental business, and we are SO excited! Each month, you'll receive three Ann Taylor styles to keep in your closet as long as you'd like. When you're ready for something new, return your unwanted items and the folks at Infinite Style folks will send along something to replace it ASAP. While you don't directly choose the specific items you'll get (like you do with Rent the Runway, for instance), you can add favorites from the Infinite Style catalog to your "closet" (in the same way that the Rocksbox "wishlist" works). You can also "prioritize" pieces you'd like to receive sooner rather than later.

Once you've subscribed to Parabo Box, you'll receive a special gift each month that features one of your photos! (Think custom coasters or other decor objects, calendars and stationery, or just beautiful color prints.) With their Goody Boxes program, ThredUP is putting its sustainable, affordable twist on the world of styling and personal shopping subscription services! I caved and purchased a goody box from ThredUp. Hopefully I get some good items to choose from!

I would love the Ann Taylor box but not at that price point for 3 items. If they gave a good discount on what you keep then maaaaybe, but I suspect they don’t, given their online pricing.

So thredup box is much more friendly to my budget. I’ve gotten great deals on thredup and almost everything has been in like-new condition.

This year I’m replacing Robb Vices with GQ. If it works out, it’ll be a BARGAIN!

Missy

I’m thinking I might sub to Margot Elena even without a discount code because their stuff is SO pricey and by the looks of the first box your definitely getting your moneys worth & then some! Of course I’m not saying that a discount code wouldn’t be nice but I think there’s enough want for that box that they won’t need to offer a discount cause they can get full price easy! Just saying!

I would love an Old Navy box for adults, hahah. Old Navy is my go-to, but shopping in actual stores stresses me out and shopping online ends in expensive purchases. I tend to grab jeans in my size and a sweater and bolt for the register; or, if I’m shopping online, I buy a ton of clothes I don’t need. A sub would be amazing!

I’m intrigued by Bombay and Cedar and Margot Elena but I’ll wait a bit before I bite the bullet.

Just ordered my 2nd thredup goodie box. Loved the first one. If my guy wore more dressy stuff then I would sub the g box.

Adeline

I love the Margot Elena box after seeing the review. I would definitely sub with a good discount or if I’m not on product overload.

Happy New Year MSA crew! Thanks for all the work you do throughout the year.

I’m actually entering 2018 sub free. After a year of varying subscriptions, my previous rule is even more locked into place – no preview, no purchase.

I learnt ALOT about what I want, what I need & what can be left behind.

Here’s to a 2018 with no (box) regrets, my friends 📭📦🎉🎊

Good for you! I have been becoming very choosy and starting to limit my choices. Also, after getting boxes for a while poor customer service, mystery boxes with no known hero items or majority of contents is an absolute no no for me. The only box I really want to try is the Margot Elena!

I’m with everyone else here. I’m dying to see the Margot Elena box reviewed and if there’s a discount code, I’m in. I love my FFF box and sometimes BOS. I would sub to PS if there just weren’t so many things up for swap from that box and if they didn’t repeat so much stuff. I’ve got my beauty boxes pared down to the best ones for me and don’t need anymore unless it’s something that would be ridiculous to pass up.

Please get a box for review Liz! Feed our frenzy! LOL

She already reviewed Margot Elena box!

I need clothes so I definitely need to downsize my beauty subs and sub to ThreadUp. I’m looking forward to seeing some reviews to get a good idea of what to expect.

Reply ButtonReply

Missy

That would be cool! I’m wondering if the clothes are still descent looking for being used and if it’s still “stylish” enough for me. I wonder if it’s comparable to goodwill or is it better??

I ordered a ThreadUp cold weather Goody Box, and the clothing was in great condition! The stylist really listened to what I liked and took ideas from an old Pinterest board I made for another styling service website. The pieces she sent were all in my size, but due to variations in brand sizing (and my own body!) I wound up returning more than I kept. I will definitely try another box in late spring/early summer. It was fun to try on colors and styles I might not have picked for myself, as well as learn about new-to-me designers.

I would love to see theThredUp goody boxes reviewed!

The Margot Elena box is my favorite. I am in overload of beauty samples, so I love this box. Cannot wait till the next box! 💖

Margot Elena and Bombay + Cedar both sound lovely!! I love game of thrones but I’m not sure what I would do with a quartlwey delivery of GoT themed items. Though I would totally love to try a game of thrones cookbook.

Happy New Year, Liz and team MSA! Super excited to try Margot Elena box. Liz, please try and get a discount code. Hook us up! 😊Lol! Huge fan of FFF and PopSugar thanks to your reviews. Keep them coming! Wishing you all a happy, healthy and blessed 2018!

I would sign up for an annual sub for Margot Elena but there is no discount. It’s $199 when the quarterly is $49. I am sticking with Luxor, fff, and finally bit the bullet and subbed to PSMH after buying their mystery boxes and one off boxes and swapping for their items. I dropped Allure and Sephora. I love BOS but will stop paying full price and will skip next year’s winter box altogether.

Liz- please try to get a discount code for Margot Elena! 🙂

And very happy New Year to Liz, Eric and everyone else at MSA!

Happy New Year! 🎉

Yes, a discount code would be great…. I’m not biting the bullet unless there’s a discount code, several reviews or hopefully, both!

The Margot Elena Discovery Box sounds really interesting…. I know I couldn’t afford that amount per month, so I’m glad that it’s a per quarter kind of thing, even with shipping. More reviews on it would be great to decide whether I splurge or not. 🙂 I’m not into the FFF/Sugarbash/PopSugar thing. I’m definitely deciding whether to do the Heima box this year. I know that it isn’t on this specific list, but I’ve been drooling over that one! I also like the idea of Parabo Box by Parabo Press on this list, though I must admit I would want different photos of family members, sites I’ve seen (travel), etc. etc. to be included so I’m not gifting much.

I have enough makeup subs and am not signing up for anymore this year unless there is a miraculous deal. I want to branch out. 🙂
