Now, on to the items!

Lipstick Queen Medieval Tinted Lipstick Treatment – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $24

This hydrating "lipstick" is almost more like a balm/lip stain. And I am OBSESSED with it! It provides a gorgeous sheer red berry color, it's moisturizing, and it gives your lips a beautiful sheen. (Not super shiny like a gloss.)

(Swatched in lower photo.)

Benefit Cosmetics Hoola Matte Bronzing Powder Mini - Retail Value $15

Benefit's packaging of their pressed powders is so cute! This mini bronzer comes with a tiny matching brush!

(The brush is handy for travel, but for general use, I'm using one of my normal size brushes.)

The formula is great - it's a warm bronze that works well with my skin tone, it blends evenly, and the pigment is great, too. And most importantly for me - it's matte. No shimmer!

(Swatched in lower photo.)

Laura Geller New York Iconic New York Collection Eye Shadows - Value $10.50

This mini palette gives you 3 pans from the 12-pan full Downtown Cool palette.

The Cream shade on the left is a matte, and the two shades on the right (Gilded Bronze and Goddess) are beautiful shimmers.

Here are the shades swatched beneath the Lipstick Queen and the Benefit bronzer:

The shadows blend well and had practically no fallout, too!

Wander Beauty Unlashed Volume and Curl Mascara – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $24

This mascara delivers on the length, volume, and curl promises! My only negative is that the formula takes a while to dry, and the lash definition wasn't great. (Some minor clumping issues.)

I'd recommend making sure there isn't too much formula on the mascara brush before applying to help with the clumping issue.

Aerin Rose Hand & Body Cream - 1 oz Value $9.52

This is a medium-weight cream that absorbs fairly quickly and moisturizes well. I was worried when I saw the rose scent (rose isn't my favorite), but I actually really like the fragrance. It's light, maybe more of a floral/rose than a straight rose, and it fades pretty quickly, too.

Sugarfina Sugar Lips - Retail Value $7.50

I love Sugarfina gummies and I'm always happy to see them in a box!

These sweet + sour gummy lips will be gifted, though, since they are made with Red dye 40. (I'm allergic.)

Fortunately for me, the other gummy selection is naturally colored:

Sugarfina Royal Roses - Retail Value $7.50

These gummies are made with all-natural flavors of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, and black currant.

And I'm happy to report they were delicious! (The box is completely empty now, so maybe it's a good thing I couldn't eat both...)

Pink Sugar Rollerball - Retail Value $20

I think this is one of the first perfumes I tried when I was a teenager getting into beauty products, and the scent is so nostalgic for me! It's a sugary sweet vanilla - think cupcakes and cotton candy!

The Bouqs $40 Coupon

FYI - Birchbox lists this as a $40 gift card on the description of this box on their site, but it is a unique coupon code that only applies to a select curation of flowers at bouqs.com/birchbox. (Prices start at $60. Shipping is free.)

It's still a great discount (you can get a bouquet of flowers delivered to someone on Valentine's Day for only $20), but when I first saw this description of the box, I thought I'd be getting a $40 gift card that could work on any bouquet. It's a little disappointing!

(Check out our reviews of The Bouqs to learn more about their floral subscriptions.)

Verdict: This box has a value of about $118.02! I think that's good for the $46 cost, and even better if you use coupon code TAKE15 or 10FOR2018 to get it at a discount. With the exception of the mascara, everything in this box is a hit for me. (And if Birchbox always included Sugarfina gummies in every Limited Edition box moving forward, that's totally fine by me!)

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box today? Yep. This one-time purchase box is still available as of 1/31!

Coupon – TAKE15 or 10FOR2018

Value Breakdown: At $46 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Lipstick Queen: $9.35
  • Benefit: $5.85
  • Laura Geller: $4.09
  • Wander Beauty: $9.35
  • Aerin: $3.71
  • Sugarfina (2): $5.85
  • Pink Sugar: $7.80

The Bouqs code expires 4/15 but when I tried using it today, their site said it was expired. I contacted them & Rey Anne sent me a gift card code minutes later for the $40 and I was able to order tulips (18 stems, no vase) for a friend’s birthday for a total $13.16! I’m excited to see them in about two weeks. Great customer service!

I just received this with the 30% code and love everything. I think I’ll send flowers to my BF’s mom for Mother’s day. =)

Interesting about the Bouqs coupon. That was actually a seller for me in this box, I went to their website and saw that there were actually $40 bouquets. I’m glad in reading this I didn’t make this purchase, I would have been pretty upset. While you can still get a nice bouquet for $20, that’s not quite the impression that they (Birchbox) were giving everyone.

So glad I saw this review. This will be perfect for VDay. I ordered 2, one for me and one for my daughter and I’ll hand my hubby the flower coupon codes to let him get us each a bouquet!!

Thanks for the code, “Follow” worked and both boxes only cost $73

I got my box today, too. My lipstick arrived all smushed up with no cap anywhere to be found, and I didn’t get the Bouqs gift card at all. I didn’t realize the gift card was missing until after chatting with cs about the lipstick. They’re sending me a new one. I don’t think I’d have used the gift card, so not too bothered, but wow, that is some sloppy packaging, not at all my experience with other Birchbox LEs.

Meanwhile, the gummies area astonishingly delicious. I could cry!

This is the first Birchbox LE I’ve bought in quite a while and one of the reasons I bought it was the Bouqs “gift card.” I’m REALLY disappointed to read that I can’t use it on the $40 bouquets!! I don’t recall there being any indication of this fact in the box description, either! Grrrrrrr…

I also wanted the Lipstick Queen lippie, which I definitely like, and the mascara because tons of its reviews on Sephora days it wouldn’t flake (I have a serious problem with virtually all of the mascaras I’ve ever tried either flaking or smudging) but it did. But my lids were oily at the time and I didn’t properly wipe off the wand like I usually do, so I’ll give it another shot. … Also the Sugarfina. Because Sugarfina. At least those were good. 🙂

I just sent them an email about the Bouqs “gift card.” We’ll see what they say.
