The Birchbox Limited Edition: Time to Dazzle Box is one of the latest Limited Edition boxes from Birchbox! (This is available to everyone - not just Birchbox subscribers.)

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Box: Birchbox Limited Edition: Time to Dazzle Box

The Cost: $66 ($240 Value)

And don’t forget to add your free mystery sample pack!

The Products:

Each box comes with a sheet of paper detailing all the items included:

Now, on to the items!

beautyblender® original – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $20

I have paid retail price for Beautyblenders in the past, so getting one in a box always ups the value for me!

If you haven’t used a Beautyblender yet, you will soon learn why this is such a cult classic! It’s the best way I’ve found to apply foundation for a flawless finish (no brushstrokes, excess formula, etc.)

Make sure to soak the Beautyblender in water, then squeeze out excess before applying foundation. You want to bounce the blender across your face, not rub it in.

Living proof.® STYLE|LAB® Prime Style Extender – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $20

I love Living Proof! This product smells amazing, and it is designed to extend the lifespan of your hairstyle. This works great for me as a general styling cream, too.

Oribe The Lacquer High Shine Nail Polish in The Red – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $32

WOW! Before I tried this, I was thinking how on earth could a nail polish be $32? Well, first off the packaging is gorgeous. But! Much more importantly - the formula is amazing! One coat coverage, no chips for days, high-shine creme finish. (I'm already planning on buying the nude color, as well.)

Here it is on:

I'm normally not a red polish girl, but I couldn't stop admiring my nails when I had this on!

Birchbox Brush Set – 3 Makeup Brushes - Estimated Value $15?

This set includes an Angled Liner, a Shader, and a Blender brush.

The bristles are soft and densely packed, plus the black handles with gold accents are super classy!

Stila Cosmetics Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Aria – .05 oz Value $11

I can't recommend this liquid lipstick enough. I wear the Patina shade almost every day, and I love the pigment, the staying power, and the matte finish. (Plus it wears down well, too.)

Swatched in lower photo.

Smith & Cult Book of Eyes Eye Quad Palette in Noonsuite – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $44

This palette features a quad of champagne and bronze colored hues:

The metallics are shimmery but very wearable, the brown is gorgeous matte, and the pigment is great throughout.

Here are all the shades swatched beneath the Stila liquid lip:

Sunday Riley Good Genes All-in-One Lactic Acid Treatment – .27 oz Value $28.35

I'm ALWAYS happy to see Sunday Riley in a box! This Lactic Acid Treatment is designed to exfoliate dead skin cells, plump fine lines, even out hyperpigmentation, and boost your skin's glow.

I swear I noticed a subtle plumping effect after applying it, too.

Smashbox Photofinish Foundation Primer - 15 ml (Mini Size) Retail Value $16

This is one of the first primers I’ve ever sampled and I still use it whenever I get it in a box! It’s a classic oil-free primer that creates a smooth base for applying foundation. (Not a new discovery/exciting beauty sample, but a good one!)

The Beachwaver Wrap Up - Retail Value $10

This tool is designed to make a super easy bun.

Just slip your hair through the opening, close, them roll up!

My hair is a little too short to use this currently, but considering I change my mind on hairstyles every few months, I'm sure I'll be able to use it soon enough.

nOir Jewelry Tassel Earrings – Estimated Value $30?

These earrings feature beaded tassels and a micro-chain detail on the clip-on part.

I like the gunmetal color, and the clip-ons make these versatile for everyone. (Note - they did start to feel a little tight on my ears after a while, so I recommend adding clip-on earring pads if you plan on wearing these for several hours.)

Here they are on:

Verdict: This box has a value of about $226.35! I think that's great for the $66 cost, and even better if you use coupon code LOVE15 or TAKE15 or 10FOR2018 to get it at a discount. This is such a box of all-star products! I highly recommend it!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box today? Yep. This one-time purchase box is still available as of 1/30!

Coupon – LOVE15 or TAKE15 or 10FOR2018

Value Breakdown: At $66 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

This was a wonderful box, especially at the price. I was able to share items with my daughter on a recent visit. The Oribe nail polish is spectacular ( she put it in immediately!) I think the earrings look great. So many products to enjoy. Also, customer service is amazing if you have questions!

Really tempted, just for the nail polish. I think it’s at least 5 free. All the others are extras.

Thank you Liz for the stacking coupons information on this box on Feb.11, 2019…I did it and I was shocked at how much I got for exactly 33 dollars…Tax included!!! You are the best!
I did this because I just couldn’t get my head around the FFF Spring box…Taking a break on that until the Summer box…
Could you possibly tell us how to get on the Ipsy Glam bag plus wait list at this time? I have emailed IpsyCare…I have resubbed to the Ipsy Glam Bag…but I REALLY want that Ipsy Glam Bag plus…

I think they are making BoxyCharm look a bit dull right now…Even my BoxyLuxe reveals for March don’t look that exciting.

Thanks for all the info you provide us!

My American Express card also had an offer of $10 back if I spent $50 at Birchbox. So it brought it down to $46.10.

Sharon

With the coupon and zero shipping, the total came to $56.10. This is a great box even though I won’t use the earrings, primer, or the red polish. I can’t wait for it to get here.

Y’know, if the earrings weren’t clip-ons I might have bought this box. I love them but I just can’t deal with the pain of clip-ons. And there aren’t enough other items that I want in this box to justify the cost.

Here is a great tutorial to change the earrings to pierced. I have done this a few times and E-6000 works great! I plan on converting these as well. Hope you (and maybe some others) find this helpful! Cheers!!

Sunday Riley Good Genes is one of my HG skincare items. The Beauty Blender, brushes, eyeshadow, and Sunday Riley make this worth it for me. I can always use back up primer and it will be fun to try the bun maker thingie on my daughter. I wish the nail polish was any other color and while I’m happy to see clip ons, I just don’t like the earrings. Thanks for the review! I’m off to go buy it 🙂

Ana

I’m confused- I thought it was $66, but at the end of the review the cost is cited as being ‘$42’?

Sorry – my mistake! I just updated the post, it should be $66. Thanks!
