The first reason I wanted to check out CAUSEBOX was its mission—to not just be an awesome lifestyle box but to do so while supporting businesses that either give back or follow ethical practices. This booklet goes deep explaining each featured brand in short, engaging articles.

Each month, the actual CAUSEBOX box features a new and different design. This month's box was inspired by Anchal Project's textile designs. Anchal Project works to create sustainable textile products that create employment and empowerment for exploited women around the globe. (Amazing!!!) I love the rich, retro colors of the box, and scrolling around their website, there are some pieces I absolutely love. Lucky me—this card will nab me $30.00 off!

Exclusive Sarah Sherman Samuel x Tribe Alive Table Runner/Wall Hanging

I. Am. In. LOVE. The neutral tones, the understated design—this table runner couldn't be more me. According to the info booklet, this table runner is a collaboration between designer Sarah Sherman Samuel and textile company Tribe Alive, whose women leaders employ and inspire artisans in Jaipur, India. You can fold this runner and hang it by a dowel if you've already got a table runner you love, too. I have no doubt this beautifully crafted piece will stay in my collection for years and years.

Exclusive Krochet Kids International Pom Pom Beanie Hat

The booklet says that this beanie is an exclusive made just for this box! I love the colors—they coordinate with the table runner, haha! There's a tiny bit of twinkle in the knit, but it doesn't feel super holiday-ish. I'm mostly impressed by how soft this beanie is. It's super cuddly and fits like a dream.

Krochet Kids employs women artisans in Uganda and Peru to make their hats. The woman who made my hat signs the tag inside—so cool!

Honest Beauty Magic Balm, 0.17 oz - Retail Value $18.00

I love Jessica Alba's Honest Company brand of clean, effective products. Her beauty line has the prettiest, simplest packaging, too. This balm is hypoallergenic and made without the creepy chemicals that can appear in mainstream makeup. And best of all, it's multipurpose! The booklet says it can be used for lips, cuticles, dry skin, and even on cheekbones as a dewy alternative to highlighter. I can attest that it was awesome on my extremely dry, chapped winter lips.

Half United Hexagonal Cuff Bracelet - Retail Value $45.00

For every product sold, Half United donates to a cause. How amazing is that? This bracelet is gorgeous and 100% my style. Plus, according to the Half United website, the hexagonal shape is a nod to the honeycombs that the bracelet supports at a bee farming school in Fiji. Gold plated and sleek, this bracelet is going to be awesome for adding a bit of shine to everyday and special occasion outfits.

Level Naturals Candle in Lavender + Chamomile, 8 oz. - Retail Value $20.00

I'm digging the peaceful, easy-going aroma of this toxin-free candle. This guy checks lots of ethical boxes for me—vegan, Leaping Bunny and PETA-certified cruelty-free—plus it uses natural ingredients, rather than artificial fragrances. This candle will bring a chill, cozy vibe to my living room this winter.

Exclusive Causebox Forty-Nine Great Conversations Cards

I love conversation cards like this. I'm not a small-talk kind of gal—I like connecting with people on a deeper level, especially if they're friends or loved ones. This deck of 49 conversation-prompting questions will live on my coffee table, ready and waiting for the next dinner party.

Come Together Print

Every season, CAUSEBOX sends out a new 4" x 6" from a different artist. I love the simple elegance of this black and white line drawing, and the gold foil "Come together" sentiment will be a good community-minded sentiment to see each day in the new year.

Verdict: I am so in love with CAUSEBOX! I really like the idea of getting my subscription box fix while simultaneously supporting brands with missions or practices I believe in. I get something out of the box, and more importantly, the artisans behind the products in this box are benefitted as well. On a more superficial level, everything in this box was just my style. And wow, was I impressed with the quality. I'm so excited to fill my home with these little goodies. Thanks to the articles in the booklet, I'll be able to tell the stories behind each item while they gather compliments. I'll be singing the praises of CAUSEBOX from here on in!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? As of today, 1/12, yes! But inventory is low—hurry and nab yours today!

Value Breakdown: This box cost me $54.95, but included 7 items (not including the Anchal Project coupon). The average cost I paid for each item is, therefore, $7.85. Being that the items I could find a retail value for had a total price tag of $83.00, I feel like this box is a fantastic deal!

Is this box still available?

I love this review! I didn’t think I was going to like the half united bracelet, but when I got it I fell in love and couldn’t bear to put it up for swap.

I wish you would have put the retail values of each item though, instead of just price per item.

Replying to this comment to clarify that I saw that she put retail values for some of the items but not all – but on Causebox’s website when you look inside the box it shows their values for all of them.

About how long is the runner?

A quick reader might think the value of the goods was $83, which does a real disservice to the box. Instead, you might try inserting “and that doesn’t even include the two biggest items,” so that it reads “Being that the items I could find a retail value for had a total price tag of $83.00, and that doesn’t even include the two biggest items, I feel like this box is a fantastic deal!”

Agreed, I was looking through the review to see if I wanted to get this box and the 83 there threw me. Was really shocked when I looked it up and saw – 211 is the total RV (not including the 30 discount). Rather surprised me as usually MSA has the total RV prominently listed – especially on a box such as this that is super helpful to see! (also, amazing how causebox has such high RV)
I would sign right up for this one on RV basis…except the items aren’t my taste D:

I loved this box. Was so sad the bracelet was really tiny. My regular bracelet size is 7.5. I couldn’t even get it on my wrist and it clearly said do not bend. I ended up trading it. I gifted the runner to my mom because it was definitely her style.

Shelli

My bracelet was way too small as well, and I have a small wrist. The opening was so small I couldn’t even try it on. I was so sad cuz I loved it. I did reach out to causebox and I guess a number of people had the same issue. Not sure what they are gonna do about it though.

Hi, I think something got messed up with the review. I can’t see anything and think it was published without the content.
