So I heart salsa and have been eyeing this sub for a while so I signed up, but I gotta call something out. I’m used to answering a few questions for preferences/profile but … these folks apparently need my gender, race, annual income, and relationship status to send me food. Seriously. Did I just sign up for food or to have my identity stolen. It seems needlessly invasive to ask all those questions.

LOL. It’s been over a year since I signed up, but I do remember it being pretty extensive. I think they are going more after a demographic survey to help cater their selections (I hope…and not just selling that info) because the only real “personalization” I’ve seen so far is whether or your not you are able to use K-cups. Just as a warning, they do a monthly survey too that earns you 5 pts towards a free box and although they don’t ask personal questions there, it is also pretty extensive. Not as annoying as Love with Food (no gifs) but quite a few questions. I assume that’s partly how they get these products at a discount….by promising to provide user feedback. It kind of reminds me of doing those surveys in the mall back in the day where you would try a product or watch a commercial and then take a survey after to earn $5.
