FYI – Glowing Beets Subscriptions Are Temporarily Ending

I enjoyed the one box I got from them, but only could afford to try it out at that one time price.
Imo the marketing for eco friendly, natural beauty boxes is over saturated now… can’t buy them all!

Glowing Beets is one of my favorite subs because I love natural skincare & found a lot of the products work for me. It is one of the very few boxes that I would end up using every product each month. I’m sad to see it go, even temporarily. I doubt it’ll be returning but I hope it does. The value of my boxes seemed worth it and their customer service was awesome. I had a product with a faulty pump and they sent a new one and allowed me to keep the other one. I also posted on their IG a few times & wanted a certain nail polish color from their valuations. I didn’t get the color I wanted which was disappointing but I didn’t say anything about it. They sent it as a free add on in my next box. I wish them well and hope their next venture is even better.

Sadly, I don’t think they ever built up a great customer base. I subscribed, did not like the dark shadow and dark red lip/ cheek stain, and one product was crushed, which they said they were getting tons of reports of and were going to replace in the next month’s box.

I didn’t want another box but they sent me one free to try to keep my subscription. I have to give them an ” A” for great CS and effort, but there were quality problems in one of the two boxes I ever had from them.

I subbed initially prior to the shipping costs, then when the price went up I unsubbed.

I used to like the glowing beets box yet as the price went up and the value did not it was not for me.

If glowing beets reivents itself, I wish they would keep the box with shipping under $30 even if that means a glowing beets bag instead of box (like an ipsy bag) to save on shipping. It would be great if they mixed it up a bit, and had an natural stone piece of jewelry (should be able to get those wholesale cheaply) a yummy seasonal snack, and 2 beauty products.

Instead of monthly – every other month. Work on getting the subscribers up at the lower price point, once that happens offer speciality boxes can be purchased additionally.

I was sad to see this email this morning, as I really liked this box (another one of my favorite boxes, Bare Element, shut down recently too. wah!), and I loved the January box. Well, I hope they’ll be back some time this year or next.

Translation: “We can’t afford to keep losing money on this. Don’t hold your breath for a re-launch of the sub, but we may have an online shop in the future, and you’ll be welcome to shop there.”
