Goddess Provisions Solstice Priestess Box Review December 2017
December's theme is "Solstice Priestess."
Lasertrees Solstice Necklace - Listed Value $20.00
I couldn't find this particular design on the Lasertrees website, so I gave the value from the info card above! I love this necklace so much. It hangs long, down around the middle of my torso. The charm is made of wood, so it's incredibly lightweight and has a natural beauty that's different than all of the other metallic looks I have. Did you catch the crescent moon shapes in the center?
Fire and Bloom Shakti Candle, 4 oz. - Retail Value $12.00
In reviewing boxes, I feel like I've smelled a million different candles. But the smell of this one was unlike anything I've checked out before. It' s very tea-like. The mix of lotus, hibiscus, and cornflower comes across like aromatic, slightly flowery herbs. There's something about it that smells like cardamom, too... super intriguing. I like that there's a mantra on the bottom of the lid!
New Moon Tea Co. High Priestess Tea, 30g - Retail Value $11.49, Listed Value $11.00
It just makes you feel special to drink a priestess-inspired tea, y'know? There are lots of refreshing flavors in this loose-leaf blend. There's something lemony, a minty vibe (but not a frosty flavor like peppermint), and some pretty floral flavors, too. Holding a hot mug of tea in my hands in the middle of winter is one of my favorite feelings, and drinking in these flavors is both heartwarming and uplifting.
Love by Luna Magic Nail Decals - Retail Value $5.99, Listed Value $8.00
How fun are these! I love how tiny and simple these black shapes and sayings are. There are even itty bittier details inside each shape, like the galaxy of stars inside the hands. The only bummer is that they're just a smidge too big for my tiny natural nails—I might wait until after I get myself a cool manicure to play with these! I can't decide if I'll do one for every nail or just do a statement nail... I like the idea of using these decals as a fun accessory to celebrate each full moon!
ZenBunni Chocolate MoonJuice Bar, 0.32 oz. - Listed Value $3.00 (Buy a 3-bar bundle for $9.00 here)
I loooove chocolate, so I was thrilled to see some in this box! I was also excited for the chance to try something that highlights not one, but two wellness brands I've been curious about—ZenBunni and MoonJuice! I've heard about ZenBunni chocolate, and I can attest that this 70% cacao, stone-ground, vegan bar was pretty tasty. It's not the most decadent chocolate, if you're used to lots of milky, sugary chocolate like I am, but by the third bite, I couldn't care! I liked that I could pick up on the almost coffee-like nuances of the cacao, and the maple crystals in the MoonJuice recipe add an interesting sweetness. The best part was the size of the bar—it's just enough of a treat without being overwhelming.
Spiral Spectrum Mini Mystic Moon Calendar - Listed Value $10.00
I think this calendar is an exclusive for this box. I love this paper calendar! Each month has a circular calendar of moon phases (which is a fun tool I've been using to track my intentions). It's only a 5" x 5" square, but that makes it easy to pop on the fridge or on my office pinboard for easy viewing.
Wild Rose Solstice Salt Spray, 1 fl. oz. - Retail Value $7.95, Listed Value $8.00
This spray had the same refreshing, herbal vibe as the candle. There's cardamom, a hint of refreshing spearmint, and chamomile. It's got Himalayan sea salt in it, too, so you can use it to texturize your hair, clean your yoga mat, or even just bring a little light to your space. I've been using it as a room spray, and it's made my stuffy winter apartment feel a little more... awake, if that makes sense!
Clear Quartz Point - Listed Value $5.00
This two-inch long quartz point has such a satisfying weight to it! It feels solid and present in my hand. The dreamy, cloudy color is said to coordinate with the crown chakra, meaning it can remind me to focus on lightness and spirituality during my meditation practice. (Or whenever I see it sitting in my home.)
The Verdict: I love the uplifting vibes of this box! I really appreciated the quality of the products inside, and that they're made by such unique brands. Some of the listed values differed slightly from the retail values I found, but I think they were either rounded up, rounded down, or maybe meant to accommodate shipping costs that I would've incurred buying the items independently.
