January 2018 Teen Titans Legions of Collectors Review

Legion of Collectors ships bi-monthly and is always themed. This theme focused on the Teen Titans and included a reprint of the original comic!

Yay! The information card is back! It lists out item details and production notes - very cool.

You'll find the next theme on the back.

Cyborg Patch - Value $5?

They've been switching up product offerings lately. So, instead of always receiving a patch and pin, it's been varying - the last shipment, we got a pin and this time, we get a Cyborg patch.

Beast Boy Shirt - Value $15?

There are two different Beast Boy t-shirt designs for this box, showing off two different animal forms - I got the Tiger variant.

Nightwing POP - Value $28 on POP Price Guide

This month's exclusive POP is Nightwing in his original costume.

The sculpt isn't anything special, it's all about that exclusive costume.

If you're into DC POPs - there are A LOT of POPs to get.

Cyborg Figure - Value $15?

You'll get two of a possible four Teen Titans figures. The first figure I received was Cyborg.

These are very much like the toys that I grew up loving - so it's a nostalgic kick. If you remember the Funko Re-Action figure line, these are similar but with added articulation at the knees and elbows - and with a little bit more swivel articulation at the neck.

Raven Figure - Value $15?

The second figure I pulled was Raven. You could receive Nightwing or Starfire as well.

I don't follow the Teen Titans too much, but Raven was seeking out members for the Teen Titans in the comics issue that's included in this box - so it was a nice little tie-in for me.

Even the packaging is just a great little nostalgic kick.

Teen Titans #1 - Value $3.99 + exclusive variant

This month also includes a reprint of an old Teen Titans comic. As someone who doesn't know too much about the supergroup, it was a fun read - especially while sorting through all my Funko goodies.

Verdict: As a major Funko fan but not so much a fan of the Teen Titans, I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this box - but I ended up liking it. While the POP sculpt was basic, getting the original costume is really cool. I also like this new articulating retro toy line, so all-in-all, it was a good box.
