December 2017 'Stealth' Loot Gaming Review

The 'Stealth' theme includes items from Dishonored, Magic: The Gathering, Assassin's Creed, and Metal Gear Solid.

This month's box has a little pop-out section to display the exclusive Assassin's Creed figure.

Pop it on the top to complete the scene. This was a good little box extra!

You'll get a large fold-out information sheet.

One side features a 28x22 poster - this month features Assassin's Creed.

The reverse side will walk you through the items in the crate.

Stealth Pin - Value $5?

Each month comes with a themed pin. The Stealth theme pin is a scarab - which is a callout to the most recent Assassin's Creed storyline.

Dishonored Shirt - Value $15?

This month's exclusive shirt features a wanted poster of 'The Masked Miscreant' from Dishonored.

Assassin's Creed Origins Bayek Figure - Value $15-20?

This month includes a figure from Loot Crate's 'Screen Shots' figure line - one of my favorite in-house lines from them.

It arrives in a few pieces to put together.

The figure is 5 inches tall and is beautifully detailed and painted - one of the best I've seen from them!

They did a great job detailing this one.

Pop it on the piece of the box, and you'll get a little extra height to your figure.

Metal Gear Solid Alert Hat - Value $15?

This is easily my favorite item of the month! As a fan of the series, and mostly as a fan of Metal Gear on the original PlayStation, this one really spoke to me.

It's a basic snapback hat. But that red alert symbol is a major franchise callout.

Under the rim, you'll get even more Metal Gear detail.

It really had me thinking about those old 'Game Over' scenes, so I had to go and find this:

Garruk Wildspeaker POP - Value $10-11 on Amazon

You'd get a random POP from the Magin: The Gathering POP line - I got Garruk Wildspeaker.

I'm not a Magic fan, but I thought this was a cool sculpt for a basic POP.

At this point, you can pretty much find a POP for major fandoms - it's a real nightmare to try and complete collections sometimes!

Verdict: I liked every item in this box - so while it was late, I thought the value was still there. I'm hoping that they get all of these shipping issues sorted out, and soon, but if you're ok with some delays, you can still get good value on the items.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No - they're currently taking orders for the December box. You'll have until the 27th of each month to get that month's theme!

The Assassins Creed figure is pretty cool; another good one from their in house designer. I don’t play either Dishonored or MGS but both those designs are quite nice, and its nice to get a regular style cap. Of course for the pop fig i get the least interesting looking one, which when you’re not into the franchise makes it pretty lame.
