Nerdy Post is a monthly celebration of your favorite fandoms from TV, movies, and books. Every month, you'll get handcrafted items centered around a different monthly fandom.
Everything you get in Nerdy Post is handmade by Alexis, Nerdy Post's creator. Here's what their site says:
"...we wanted to provide unique, high-quality designs that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Hand lettering and illustrating these designs means that nothing is created using fonts or stock images from a computer. Designs are of course digitized in order to be printed on the products, but they will retain their hand-crafted quality."
Alexis recently started offering a Nerdy Tees subscription, which features one graphic tee that fits the monthly theme, for $15.95 a month plus shipping. You can also get the t-shirt and the items in the usual Nerdy Post box in her Nerdy Combo subscription, which is $29.90 per month plus shipping. She also offers Nerdy Post Lite for $9.95 per month, which delivers 5-7 items each month, instead of the 8 that arrive in the classic Nerdy Post.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
This review is for the Nerdy Post box, which is $13.95 a month.

Nerdy Post "Narnia" December 2017 Review
What better way to ring in the holiday season than with a Chronicles of Narnia box?! Let's see the designs:
Here's the product list for the box. I love how Alexis explains a little bit about the whats and hows of each item. I feel like you get to see a bit of her artistic process that way, which is cool!
Aslan Quote Print
On the back of the postcard-sized info card is this quote from The Magician's Nephew. I like the somewhat raw style of the lettering—it's not too perfect. This is the sort of thing I'd put in my foyer—something inspiring to see just before I head out the door in the morning, or a warm welcome for guests who stop by.
Narnia Poster
This poster is so gorgeous! Alexis mentions on the info card that it's one of her favorites. I just love the dreamy tones and the book-cover-inspired layout. The quote from The Magician's Nephew makes this 8.5″ x 11″ piece seem like something that would go beautifully framed in a child's bedroom or in a creative nook in your home.
Wardrobe Print by @webandmoss
Now that we've seen several pieces inspired by the wardrobe's origin story, it's time we saw a piece with the actual wardrobe in it! This postcard print is a guest design from Instagram user @webandmoss. I like the painterly texture of this piece, plus the wintry greens and blues. You can almost feel the chill drifting in from the opened doors!
The Horse and His Boy Quote Button
Going into the new year, this sentiment is much appreciated. Having it on my lapel will hopefully be as encouraging to others as it will be to me. I love the velvety finish of this 1.5-inch-wide button, too.
Voyage of the Dawn Treader Sticker by @riddesteashoppe
This is another guest design, this time from Instagram user @riddesteashoppe. What an adorable rendering of Repicheep! This sticker is about 2.5 inches wide, so it should fit nicely on my laptop. Hopefully seeing him convinces me to persevere through tough projects!
Two-Sided Bookmark
I love the bookmarks in this box! This one manages to accommodate two rather long quotes on it AND make them look fantastic, which is quite a feat. The first side is from The Magician's Nephew (seems like it's one of Alexis's faves, huh?), and the second is from Puddleglum's speech to the Green Witch. I like thinking of both quotes in the context of reading—the first captures the feeling of cracking open a new book (a new adventure, if you will) and the second feels like the perfect response to someone trying to interrupt an afternoon reading session, hehe.
Lamp Post Necklace
Oh my gosh, what a cool item!!! This enamel pendant pays tribute to the iconic lamp post from Narnia in a really stylish way. I love the way it's situated on its side rather than up and down. It seems like the kind of thing that a fan would notice me wearing at a party and do a double take!
Mini Mug Rug
I love how Alexis calls this fabric coaster a "mug rug". The Aslan design is done by Instagram user @kristinaskland, and the sewing? That was all done by Alexis's mom! This will look adorable on my coffee table. I like the arrow-print side, too!
Coloring Book Postcard
Every box includes a postcard with a custom coloring book design on the front. Hooray for Mr. Tumnus! I was worried he'd get left out! So far, I've been keeping these to color myself as a little brain-relaxing activity, but it'd be fun to send to a friend to color, too.
The Verdict: This Nerdy Post was particularly beautiful. Everything was so dreamy, and I LOVED the lamp post necklace! The coaster is also great. I hope Nerdy Post continues exploring these unexpected decor and accessory items because they. Are. So. COOL! As a holiday season box, this package could also be a source of great gifts for nerdy friends. Slip one of these prints into a sophisticated frame, and you've got a unique find for a fellow fan!
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Boxes ship out on the 15th of the month. However, if there are extra boxes available, they're sometimes listed on the Nerdy Post site shop!
