We've started a new monthly post highlighting our favorite discoveries from subscription boxes! Here are our favorite items from the past month:

Haley's Favorites:

The Item: Stitches and Stripes Feather Sleeve Dress

The Cost: On sale for $15.99! (originally $88)

From: Trendsend by Evereve

Why I love it: I like this dress so much because it’s a buttery soft fabric that feels high quality. So comfortable, so warm. And these sleeves! They’re definitely on trend with the bell shape, and the feathery fringe around the upper arms is just fun. It’s also my favorite shade of grey, which is a favorite color of mine to wear.

Why I love it: This granola mix includes a subtly sweet cacao and cashew butter base granola, a dash of cinnamon spiciness, toasted organic coconut for some creamy flavor and crunch, and dried cranberries for that tart pop. So good with yogurt in the morning, and it tastes just like a real oatmeal cookie!

The Item: Late 1960s/Early 1970s Vintage Dress

The Cost: Undetermined, though the subscription is $35/month, which includes free shipping

From: CHC Vintage

Why I Love It: I love bold prints and bright colors, and this fits me very well, also. I actually wore this to work the day we took this photo and I got some compliments. With tights, it is seasonally-appropriate for winter in Georgia, as well.

Why I love it: This mini calendar is the right size to fit in the corner of my desk. I love the stand’s sleek form and copper finish. Birchbox Dry Body Brush

Birchbox Dry Body Brush back

The Item: Birchbox Dry Body Brush

The Cost: $10 (currently out of stock, but click here to join the waitlist for when it comes back in stock!)

From: Birchbox The Best Bath Ever Kit (Coupon: Try any of these free gift with purchase coupons on orders of $35 or more!) And don’t forget your free mystery sample pack on orders of $35 or more!)

Why I love it: When I originally reviewed the Best Bath Ever Kit, I chose the Juara body oil as my favorite item from the box. However, the more I use this dry body brush, the more I love it. When I used it (as directed. Please take my word for it and use it as directed.), I noticed that it made my skin feel a lot smoother, and honestly, my legs felt invigorated after using it. The theory behind dry brushing is that, besides smoother skin, it helps with vascular circulation and lymphatic drainage. I am not a medical expert, but I really think that is happening when I use this brush! Plus, I had a really nasty bruise from slipping and falling on ice and using this brush really helped to break up the bruise so it went away a lot quicker compared to the usual duration of my bruises. I am currently waiting for Birchbox to bring it back in stock so I can order one for my mom!

Crazy Hot Clothes Vintage Accessory January 2018 Subscription Box review

The Item: CHC Vintage Accessories Box

The Cost: $55 for five hand-picked vintage accessories

From: CHC Vintage

Why I love it: CHC truly provides a customized service with their clothing box as well, but I am an accessory fiend and this box hit every mark for me! The selections in this box were so incredibly well tailored to my style through their detailed survey that was provided to me as a new subscriber. I truly adored every single piece, especially the leopard pillbox hat and the beaded purse. I have already used both accessories a few times since receiving them. Also, you can’t beat $55 for five quality vintage pieces! That is a great deal, especially since that includes shipping. They even included an awesome ring dish for me as well, which was such a thoughtful touch!

The Item: Moby – Play Vinyl LP

The Item: Linhart Fluoride Toothpaste

The Cost: $10

From: New Beauty Test Tube

Why I love it: Toothpaste is such a basic item that I wouldn't think of it as a monthly favorite typically, but this one is pretty fab! It is the perfect mint flavor, the formula designed to help strengthen enamel and prevent decay, and the best part? I love the packaging! It looks great on our bathroom counter!

I have a new skincare routine from Jan. sub box products which are each so gentle and feel so good. Here’s the 4 new skin care products and how I use them ( Following a K- beauty layering technique)-

1) Simple Micellar cleansing water- From the Allure Beauty Thrills box which shipped very late, so January delivery. I’m counting it! : )

2) Sunday Riley CEO Rapid Flash Brightening Serum- I love this lotion/ serum. I am now in the age group to use it on both face and tops of hands to keep them smooth and soft. I have several bottles from the January Allure beauty box- couldn’t resist after the Dec. Glossybox introduced me to the goodness.

3) OSEA Essential Hydrating Oil- from the Winter RZ BOS which also arrived in January. First facial oil I’ve been able to tolerate, as my skin reacts with immediate redness to others I’ve tried. Also, love the soft fresh but not herbal scent. Absorbs really fast and feels so great for my skin type ( dry).

4) Lastly, I adore the Farmacy Honey Drop moisturizing cream as my final hydrating step. It was a great product in the January PSMH box. I’ll be purchasing more when the jar is empty many months from now: )

I have a couple of dry brushes ( one with a detachable long body handle) that I got for practically nothing on Amazon. The quality is very good, and I’m thinking each, even the one with the long handle for the back area were around $10 and had free Prime shipping. Just an idea for those who don’t want to wait for a restock. Mine are oval shaped and barely fit in my hand, so larger than BB’s I think.

This is for Jessica H.; I just chose my sample pick for Birchbox last night. The kit was offered as a “ship with” product but it is sold out. However, this brush was in the “tools” section of offerings and let me add it to my box. Check the site today. Hopefully it actually arrives 🙂
