Squix QBox January 2017 Review

cleaning spray front label cleaning spray bottle

Mrs. Jones Glass and Granite Spray, 16 oz. - Retail Value $9.99

Sprays from this brand are a staple in Squix QBoxes! While I don't have granite to worry about in my current kitchen, I can say that this gently citrus-scented cleanser works well on my mirrors and glass. I like that it has less chemical creepiness than a lot of commercial cleaners but seems to work just as well.

mesh package of wooden kitchen utensils package of wooden utensils wooden utensil kit set of 6 wooden utensils wooden utensils stacked

Core Wooden Utensils 6-Piece Set - Retail Value $14.00 (Found here for $11.99)

This is JUST what I've been looking to buy! My last set of wooden utensils have gotten dried out and sad, so they've been in need of replacement. I like that these are made with organically grown bamboo, which not only feels great (smooth, sturdy) but is also durable. And according to Squix, they're also "naturally bacteriostatic, antibacterial and deodorizing".

ecloth package ecloth package back label yellow ecloth ecloth for cleaning electronics yellow ecloth and tag

e-Cloth General Purpose Cloth - Retail Value $7.99

I got one of these cloths in a previous intro box, and it's come in a lot of handy! I like that the microfiber material grabs dust in a snap and that I can wash it and use it again and again. It's a more eco-friendly alternative to using wipes or paper towels that just get thrown away.

FREE GIFT Sweet Dreams Eye Pillow - Retail Value $20.00

This is another repeat from a previous intro box! (Remember that the repeats won't matter to new subscribers though, as you will only get the intro box once!) I love the weight of this peaceful, lavender-scented pillow—it feels so relaxing laying across my sad winter sinuses. And the colors are bright and smile-inducing.

purple votive candle mixture purple candle mixture candle label

FREE GIFT Mixture Orange Vanilla Candle - Retail Value $20.00

Another favorite back for a new intro box! This Mixture has a sweet, fresh aroma—it's the kind of thing that brightens up a bathroom or makes a living room just a tad more inviting. The amethyst votive it comes in is really pretty, too!

The Verdict: I found this assortment of Squix Qbox items really handy! I like that the products have an eco-conscious tilt to them and that they cover a lot of different areas of the "household"—there are kitchen goodies, cleaning supplies, and even decor. If you already have a regular rotation of cleaning items or kitchen supplies that you like to use, then this box might not seem as impressive. But I'm still finding my footing with what brands and products are right for me, so this was a fun way to discover new things.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! But hurry—this special offer box with these specific products is only available while supplies last!

ACTIVE DEAL: Get two FREE gifts in your box (for a total of five items)!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $21.93 after shipping, but I got a retail value of $71.98. That means that proportionally, I paid about the following for each item:

  • Cleaning spray - $3.04
  • Utensil set - $4.27
  • e-Cloth - $2.43
  • Eye pillow - $6.09
  • Candle - $6.09
