Enclosed in each box is an info card with a list of the contents of the box and on the back of the card a “top goals & priorities” list.

“Good Vibes Only” Ceramic Mug

“Good Vibes Only” Ceramic Mug

“Good Vibes Only” Ceramic Mug - Retail Value $21.95

This ceramic mug will hold 14oz of hot or cold liquids. It has a gold handle and “Good Vibes Only” inscribed on the front of the mug in gold and black. The ceramic mug is not microwavable, and handwash only. This chic mug has an uplifting message to encourage me throughout the year. The mug is an acceptable size to hold my favorite beverage, and the weight of the mug is not heavy.

2018 Mini Desk Calendar

2018 Mini Desk Calendar

2018 Mini Desk Calendar

2018 Mini Desk Calendar - Retail Value $15.00

This mini desk calendar has a metal stand with a copper finish that came in two pieces with a slit that I connected to make the platform. There are twelve-monthly mini pages in black and white that sit on the stand for my viewing. This desk calendar is not too big or too small for my desk; it will fit perfectly on the corner of my desk. The design is stylish and a favorite item from this box.

Crystal Pen

Crystal Pen

Crystal Pen - Retail Value $1.00 (found here for $0.60)

This black and crystal pen is a 2-in-1 capacitive stylus (perfect for any electronic, cellular device) with a ball-point pen. I can adjust the pen by rotating the tip to write. It's a clever idea to have the stylus on one end and the pen to write with on the other end, with our society being more and more digital. This pen is a must-have and I will keep it in my purse.

Matcha Green Tea Face Mask-.5oz bottle

Matcha Green Tea Face Mask-.5oz ingredients

Matcha Green Tea Face Mask-.5oz

Matcha Green Tea Face Mask, 0.5oz - Estimated Value $3.00 (buy a 2.5 oz. jar for $15.00)

This hand-crafted cruelty-free face mask has organic matcha powder and bentonite clay. The bentonite clay also called Montmorillonite intends to rid skin of impurities and toxins, helps control excessive sebum, soften and exfoliate skin, and is safe for all skin tones. Matcha powder is a potent antioxidant, it intends to catch and deactivate my face of free radicals, and circumvents the signs of aging. I poured out a small amount of the clay mask powder and added water and mixed till there was a putty-like consistency. I applied a thin layer on my face, let dry and rinsed off with warm water. As I waited for the mask to dry on my face, the mask tightened to my skin. It’s recommended to mix a teaspoon of powder with a tablespoon of liquid (try rose water, aloe vera water, or coconut water) and use 1-2 times a week. I didn’t notice any changes in my skin or have an irritation from the mask. My skin felt refreshed.

Binder Clips in packaging

Binder Clips

Binder Clips - Retail Value $3.99

This set consists of six large binder clips with a white and gold striped design. The clips are 1 ¼” and holds up to 60 sheets of paper. These clips will jazz up my papers that I need to sort and organize.

Body Boosting Antioxidant Mix1.5oz - Buy a 6-pack for $23.99

This snack pack is rich in antioxidants, gluten-free, vegan, and cholesterol free. The ingredients consist of cranberries, raisins, dark chocolate, walnuts, pecans, and dried blueberries. The mix was delicious and had the right amount of chocolate and fruit; it was heavy on the nut variety. I tend to enjoy fewer nuts mixed with my trail mix.

The Verdict: Trendy Memo has a boxed value of $44.94, not including the trail mix. That’s about $5.00 above the cost of the box, and despite the lower value than in previous months, I enjoyed the products. My favorite part of the box was how gold was displayed throughout the products, from the ceramic mug to the binder clips, to the mini desk calendar (my favorite item from the box). For me, it added a touch of chicness to the box's curation. The box delivers on sending 4-6 products monthly, and the items are for your home or work office, over last few months their boxes have included more lifestyle, beauty products which I favor. Overall, an excellent box to start the new year.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the February box. From Trendy Memo:

Wow! $21 and change for Ross mug. Unreal, that said desks should be an extension of one’s self. I have all manner of personal items on my desk and I run a plumbing office. What should I have toilets??

I would love to try this box! My desk at my new job has tons of space for decoration and cute things.

Julia

The desk space is for working. A ton of cute things = unprofessional image.

Honestly, I wonder why people feel the need to make judgmental comments like this.

Sara

You can still do your work and have cute things. Whatever makes you happy while you work. Happy workers do more work. When I had a desk in the office I loved it, took in my own things to put around, I had a small painting hanging up, people stopped by all the time to look at it or compliment it.

Amber

hahahaha

I work in a courthouse. My desk (which can be seen by the public) is full of Funko Pops, glitter, color and fun.

It sparks conversation, commentary and makes people happy in a place that’s generally pretty solemn.

Call me unprofessional, but we spend 1/3 of our lives at our jobs, it isn’t out of line for people to want to express their personality at their desk.

Amber

I bet you’re a great person to work for/with. How do you even know who would be seeing her desk? I work at a desk, and there is never going to be a time when a client sees my desk, so no one gives a fart what I have in it. If this is a space you have to sit in for 40+ hours a week, it should make you happy to be in it, not feel like solitary confinement.

Jessica

I think it’s a bit ridiculous to judge that if someone had a decorated work space they are unprofessional. If I get my work done in a timely and competent manner, my supervisors could not care less about it I have a cute day calendar or gold binder clips. Sheesh.
