4Me Bath Diva Box January 2018 Review

4me bath box by depravi teas january 2018 booklet

This is the info sheet that was included in my package. I absolutely love that all the ingredients are listed out!

Lavender and Rose Fizzy Bath Tea Bags (x2)

Lavender and Rose Fizzy Bath Tea Bags (x2)

The baking soda in these tea bags actually did make them a little fizzy! How fun! I definitely smelled the lavender, which combined with the Epsom salts made for a super relaxing soak. There was really only a hint of rose scent, which is just fine with me. These were really nice.

Mint Chocolate Body Butter

Mint Chocolate Body Butter

This was my favorite item in the box this month for two reasons. First, the smell was incredible. It actually really and truly smelled exactly like mint chocolate chip ice cream. What a great scent! Secondly, I love that it has vitamin E in it! That is such a key ingredient for me. It makes such a difference in skin healing time, and I always seem to have scratches and bites and scrapes and such. I wish it went on a little more smoothly, but otherwise, this was a fantastic product!

Peppermint Loofah Soap

Peppermint Loofah Soap

I was excited about this soap, but it wound up being my least favorite item in the box. It didn't have much of a scent, but that's ok. My problem with it was that it disintegrated really fast. A good bar of bath soap should last at least a week in my house, but this was gone in a few days. I liked the loofah concept, but there really wasn't enough of it in the soap to be functional, or maybe I was just awkward using it. In any case, this was not my favorite product.

Healing Salve Tin

Healing Salve Tin

Despite my many scratches and scrapes, etc, I didn't really have anything to test this balm out on myself. But, I did use a little on the back of my hands, which are really dry all winter, and it definitely made a quick difference. I could almost see the skin heal. I think this will be wonderful to use when someone in the family has an actual abrasion.

Peppermint Lip Hydration Tin

Peppermint Lip Hydration Tin

I am definitely prone to chapped lips in the winter. I replaced my regular lip balm with this one for a few days, and I did not notice any difference in performance, which is actually great because I use a really good lip balm. I didn't really smell the peppermint, but I love that this is made with beeswax.

Lemon "Jello Shot" Bath Bomb

Lemon "Jello Shot" Bath Bomb

This bath bomb has good fizz and a great lemon scent! The Epsom salt helped to make it a relaxing soap, and the olive oil made my skin feel softer. This was a total win! I just wish I had more of these!

Lotion Bar in the shape of a flower

Lotion Bar

This lotion bar sure is pretty! I almost hated to use it. Fortunately, it keeps its shape a good long while because it is not easy to apply. I am not a huge fan of lotion bars in general because of this issue. They just don't go on easily. I don't want to have to rub my skin super hard to get it hydrated. As lotion bars go, this one is wonderful, but in general, they are not my favorite means of hydration.

Pink Bath Salts (x2)

Bonus! Pink Bath Salts (x2)

These are single-use tubes of pink bath salts. They had a wonderful floral scent. I am sure they are made of Epsom salt because they helped my muscles to feel relaxed. These were a nice bonus!

Pandora Bead

Bonus! Pandora Bead

What a pretty little bead! This appears to be painted glass. This would look lovely on a little chain or even a thin leather string. Plus, it's another bonus item! I love that!

The Verdict: My first box from Depravi Teas was a big hit! I liked it! I really loved the body butter, and I liked all the salts a lot, too. I feel like they sent so many products, some were bound to be better than others, but all in all, I feel like everything they sent was pretty nice. Everything has kind of a DIY feel to it, but the products themselves are outstanding, generally speaking. I also think getting all of these items for just $30 is a great value!

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? No, you will receive the March box. From Depravi Teas:

I love all things bath! That being said, I think that Lavish Bath Box is a better deal and has nicer items. I just wish I could afford it more often!
