The Cloth & Paper Stationery Subscription Box is a monthly stationery subscription box from lifestyle and stationery shop, Cloth & Paper.
In addition to the Stationery Subscription Box, Cloth & Paper offers a pens-and-pencils-focused subscription called "Penspiration," as well as a subscription that's the two boxes combined into one. With the Stationery subscription (what I'm reviewing today), you can expect 5-8 items, including desk items like paper pads, pens, note cards, and journals, as well as some occasional lifestyle goodies.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
This review is of the Cloth & Paper Stationery, $38 a month, box.

Cloth & Paper January 2018 Stationery Review
The info card directs you to their blog for a photo unboxing of this month's contents. It looks like almost everything from this box is available in their shop, which is a rarity. Yay!
The flipside has a Malcolm Gladwell quote: "The visionary starts with a clean sheet of paper, and reimagines the world."
The Icon Pen in Blush Nude, 0.5mm - Retail Value $17.90
I. LOVE. GETTIN. PENS. Last month, Cloth & Paper sent a somewhat similar pen which was thinner and offered in black with duo-toned silver and gold hardware. The one in this delivery has a bit more girth, a heavier weight to it, and is in a blush pink hue with gold accents. Then other big difference here is that the point size is .5mm and feels kinda wide to me, compared to the pen last month and ones I normally use. The ink flows suuuuper smoothly out of this though and just glides across the paper. It also has "Cloth & Paper" engraved on the clip, which is a nice little branding experience.
Memorandum Sticky Notes, 2 sets of 25 sheets - Total Retail Value $10.00
I kinda can't get enough of sticky notes and these are really quite useful with their designated areas for calls, to-dos, and notes. Organizing and categorizing thoughts and tasks makes me really happy so these are just perfect for a detailed person like myself. As with other sticky notes they've sent in past boxes, these are the well-known BIC brand which means the stickiness is not too much or too little which makes me feel like Goldilocks with the bowl of porridge that is "just right". It makes all the difference, I swear! You also get 2 pads here that each offer 25 sheets of stickied info.
Gold Foiled Index Cards, 2 sets of 12 - Total Retail Value $25.80
One thing I know about C&P is that they love their gold foiled notecards. They've included 2 packs of double-sided cards that give you a total of 24 classy gold foil-lined sheets. The card stock is nice and thick, so it feels wrong to use these for anything but a recipe card you'll have for a long time or for a note included in a special gift.
Memorandum Notepad - Retail Value $7.90
Yes to more organized note-taking! This pad gives you 16 sheets that act like a daily planner for you to jot down your busy schedule. On the left, there are slots from 8 am to 8 pm, and on the right, you have space for 3 daily goals, 5 "to-dos", 3 spots for people to call, and a dotted-grid area for notes. What a perfect little package to give you an overlook of your day! Again, the paper is a nice heavy weight which makes this feel ever so special.
CEO Sticker Set - Estimated Value $5.90 (similar linked)
The sticker set of the same name on their site is in black and white instead of this clear and gold, but they did link there from their blog for this item, so I'm going to guess they are priced the same. It's cool to see planner stickers in a more "distinguished" light than the usual kawaii stuff I see from Japan. If you're feeling hyper-organized and are so busy you don't even time to read, these gold stickers can help you map out need-to-knows at a glance with icons like airplanes, dollar signs, boxes (ooh, is that just for us here at MSA?), envelopes, and Instagram logos along with common words found in a planner like "event", "meeting", "appointment", or "OOTO".
Foiled Executive Notepad - Retail Value $11.90
Oooh- another "executive" item! SO fance. This notepad is the largest of the gang this month at 5.8 x 8.3 inches. You know it has that thick paper stock and metallic gold foiling on its 24 sheets, but this one is giving you a lot of open space. At the top you'll find the months and days in numerical form, as well as the days of the week. You can quickly circle one of each to note the date and then get cracking on what you need to write down (or doodle).
Verdict: Cloth & Paper Stationery Box included a bunch of stately stationery this month with a classy weighted pen to do all that writing with. As someone who rather write things down by hand than type it out on a computer or tablet, each one of these items brings a bit of joy. I am wistful for the months that seemed centered around a specific goal (like the letter-writing of October or bullet-journalling of November) but I'm confident they'll get back there from time to time. Until then, I'll be building my desk stationery arsenal.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but it looks like you have until the 13th to subscribe and get the February box.

- Pen: $8.57
- Sticky Notes (x2): $4.79
- Notecards (x2): $12.35
- Memo Pad: $3.78
- Stickers: $2.82
- Executive Notepad: $5.70
