Disney Princess PleyBox
4.4 overall rating

This is the official Disney Princess Subscription Box! Pley teamed up with Disney to create this bimonthly subscription box for kids. Each box includes 4-8 Disney products (apparel, accessories, toys, etc.).

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Box: Disney Princess PleyBox

The Cost: $24.99 + $5 Shipping (Box ships every other month)

For a limited time, use coupon code WELCOME25 to save 25% off your first box!

The Products: Each magical box contains: 4-8 official Disney products (apparel, figurines, fashion accessories and goodies!), a magazine with a princess story and activities, and most charmingly a DYI activity of transforming the shipping box into a playable scene (for example, the box transforms into an elaborate castle that your child can build and then color-in). The retail value of the items in the box is ~$50

Keep Track of Your Subscriptions: Add this box to your subscription list or wishlist!

Check out all of our Disney Princess Pley Box reviews, too!

Each box comes with an activity book complete with instructions to turn your box into a display! (FYI - kids will likely need help with this.

Now, on to the goodies!

Jewelry Tin - Retail Value $15?

This tin includes a necklace and earrings:

This necklace measures 16 inches long, with a 3.5 inch extender. Here is a closer look at Jasmine:

And she comes with Genie Lamp stud earrings:

This set definitely could work for adults, too! (Question from a Disney Princess fan who isn't a parent - would most girls have their ears pierced in the age-range for this box? I wasn't sure if this item seemed out of place or not.)

Jasmine POP! Pocket Keychain - Value $6

These little POP keychains are so cute! (Jasmine is 1.5 inches tall.)

And if you don't want to use it as a keychain, you can unscrew the chain and Jasmine will stand on her own!

Nothing Can Stop a Princess - Estimated Value $15?

This long sleeve tee is 100% cotton and has glittery letter accents.

Disney Princess Magic Paint Poster - Value $3

These "posters" have paint palettes built in - all you need is water and a paint brush or cotton swab!

The book includes 12 different images with matching paint sets.

Disney Princess Magic Art Scratchers - Value $2?

Think of these as big scratch-off lottery tickets for kids! (And the prize is the revealed image.)

You also get a pick to help scratch off the coating:

Lastly, this box converts into Jasmine's palace:

Complete with opening doors!

(Word of caution - kids will likely need help with putting this together. And if you want to color it, do that before you build it!)

Verdict: I couldn't find prices for most of the items, but I'm estimating the box has a value of about $41. I think that's a good value compared to the $29.99 cost, especially since everything is official Disney Store merchandise! (And that's not counting the booklet activities.)

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! Disney Princess Pleyboxes are released every 2 months (Jan, March, May, July, September, November) Box cutoffs for your first box is the 7th of the month following a release month. (for example, to get a March released box, you have to order before April 7th)

Coupon – COUPON – For a limited time, use coupon code WELCOME25 to save 25% off your first Disney Princess Box!

My 6 year old has pierced ears and she ABSOLUTELY loved the necklace and earrings. She happened to have a play date the day the box arrived and the scratchers were a big hit with her and her friend.

Glad she’s enjoying her box May! 🙂

I ordered this subscription for my granddaughter. She is 4 1/2. The pierced earrings are useless as she doesn’t have her ears pierced. Plus the shirt she received is a size 6X and they call that a small. No way will it fit her unless it shrinks a lot! Except for the very first box (this is the third one), we have been very disappointed with the items in the princess boxes. I’m cancelling but it appears they have a policy of no refunds, that you only cancel the automatic renewal. For the $27 I pay for each box, I could give it to my granddaughter and she could buy quite a lot more that she would rather have!

I want the shirt for myself. My daughter is 4 and doesn’t have her ears pierced. She said she’ll save the earrings for when she’s 24 lol. She’s been wearing the necklace a lot.

She loves the princesses, but won’t watch any of the movies because they scare her. She likes the stories that come in the activity book. She gets to know the story without having to see the bad guys lol.

A Disney Princess box for adults is badly needed, I think.

My daughter is not yet 2 but she fits the shirts in this box in the smallest size (4) already. She wears 24 months normally. So i think they run small. I won’t be piercing her ears until she is old enough to choose but her cousin can use them. Most of the stuff in this box is for bigger kids like the art stuff, but I save it for her. She loves carrying around the metal purse that came in one of them. I know 2 isn’t their target range but I just really love that I finally have a girl and can’t resist princess stuff.

Yeah I know. I got the box one for each of my girls and the shirts were so tight on my girls. My one is 2 also and it just fits her. I was very disappointed in this. First few when I looked at the reviews seemed great. A doll, toys.. now it just seems like arts and crafty stuff you find at a dollar store

Yeah I know. I got the last box one for each of my girls and the shirts were so tight on my girls. My one is 2 also and it just fits her. I was very disappointed in this. First few when I looked at the reviews seemed great. A doll, toys.. now it just seems like arts and crafty stuff you find at a dollar store

Katy

I wish they wouldn’t put so much sized apparel in these boxes. Even the larger size they added isn’t big enough for my 6 year old. This is the second month she got something she can’t wear. I can’t really justify this box to myself if she can’t use everything in it and will probably cancel after this.

Hi, can you let me know how you have contacted Pley? I have literally tried searching everywhere for contacting them and the only way I can get in touch with them is through their website, but they take a week to respond and then tell me there is nothing they can do because they can’t contact the warehouse?

Dawnn

My daughter loves Jasmine!! She does have ears pierced (she is 5) however only thing is the long sleeved shirt won’t get much use here. We live in Arizona and already back to the 80’s lol. Overall it is a good box for the age range.
