I never received the Simon Tam crate, well I got some of the items but not the little damn heros figure. That may have been about the time of supply issues or whatever bs. $50 every month or two months, whichever it maybe and a slow return on ivestment. the boxes are getting less and less in them. Pretty soon it will be just a postcard that says thanks for your money.

My wonder is if it’s getting to the point where, if Loot Crate continue to both charge for the next crate/sub in the usual time-frame while at the same time getting later with the actual delivery, that they’re going to actually be in front on the billing by more than one crate. The Mal crate (paid for in December) should have been delivered in January but won’t now until late February (more likely from experience late March), but if it’s “business as usual” with the charge system I will be billed for the March crate in mid-Feb. Then, unless they (miraculously!) deliver the March crate in (shock!) March, it won’t arrive until at least May, and so on. When do things catch up or is it inevitable that the customers will get to the point that they’ve paid for an extra crate and not realised? ’tis a puzzlement…

I think they have over extended themselves. I am worried they will fold before 2019. I hope they can resolve these issues they have with every crate. Add in the item count and some of the items have felt like filler….

And I would love to know why only some subscribers get these e-mails and others don’t. I’ve subscribed since the beginning of this crate and I never seem to get the e-mails (which often include coupon codes). I have to find about it on MSA. Yeesh…I think I’m done after Mal despite them promising something “nifty” for their 2 year anniversary.

I find their emails hit or miss too, and the coupons for the vault are a joke. Give me another item or money back from my subscription, not your el cheapo sunglasses we had left over from a box two years ago.

Is there any crate that they aren’t having a delay with? This is starting to become a worrying issue. Should someone reach out to them to see if they’re shutting down like Nerd Block did?

They are facing a 10mill lawsuit, and three of their investors quit. You find the article online, it’s recent. I say this is probably their last year, unless they can get their head out of their butt. Since the upped their prices and will do so again in March. I’ve canceled all my subs. I thought about getting the crate after the Mal one, but with delays and boxes showing less than subpar items. I can see each month they are going down hill.

The lawsuit doesn’t help, but they started crashing and burning last summer. Just google LA Times “Loot Crate became the nation’s fastest-growing start-up, then it laid off over a quarter of its staff” article from last summer. Good read.
