January 2018 Loot Socks Review

Each delivery includes two pairs of differently themed socks. This month featured Harry Potter and Fraggle Rock!

Each delivery comes with a pamphlet that details the items of the month.

Fraggle Rock Socks

The first pair of socks features characters from the Jim Henson show, Fraggle Rock!

These are sublimated socks - and it's the first time receiving this style in quite a bit of time - but I've always liked this style, so I'm all for it!

Liz and my conversation pretty much went like this - "wow, never expected Fraggle Rock"! Followed immediately by - "play the theme song. Right now"!

So, here it is for you, too:

Harry Potter Socks

The second pair of socks is a lower-key callback to Harry Potter.

Harry received his admission to Hogwarts with a similar envelope from a very special owl.

These socks are a bit heavier - so they're really good for the current cold weather. It's definitely more of a playful sketch design, too.

Verdict: After months and months of reviewing sock subscriptions, I've found that $12 is pretty much the going rate for a pair of socks like these - so getting two pairs for $10 is a very good deal if you're a fan of the franchises!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Themes cut off at the 19th of every month. Sign up now to get the February Wonder Woman and How To Train Your Dragon socks.
