JustFab has had a monthly VIP club for years now, and I love their styles. So I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try out their brand new styling service, PS by JustFab (PS stands for Personal Stylist)!
It works like many other styling services, such as Stitch Fix, Trunk Club, and Dia & Co. You pay a styling fee and receive five pieces selected for you by your stylist. You only keep what you like and return the rest with free shipping both ways. The styling fee is deducted from any purchases you make, and if you keep everything you get 20% off the total!
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

PS by JustFab January 2018 Review
When I signed up, I took a lengthy quiz to let my stylist know my size and style preferences. A few days later, I received this email alerting me that my stylist had chosen some items for me. I could just click the link and preview my package.
There are some styling services that allow you to preview your package and reject items you don't like before they are sent to you, but this was a first. With PS by JustFab, I could keep the choices my stylist made for me, or if I didn't like something, I could swap it for an item on my JustFab wishlist! And of course, since I am a JustFab VIP, I had tons of items on my wishlist!
This is a note from my stylist, Crystal.
This is the invoice that was sent with my package, showing the cost to keep each item. My $20 styling fee is applied to anything I keep, but if I keep everything, I get a 20% discount.
Button Sleeve V-Neck Pullover - Cost to Keep $32.95
I love the color of this acrylic blend sweater! I also love the buttons at the sleeves; that's a stylish detail. Unfortunately, the fit is just bad for me. It's too long. I have it pulled up, and it looks a lot better, but I wish it was just this length. Then it would be perfect.
Tummy Tamer Legging - Cost to Keep $29.95
I am wearing these leggings in almost every picture in this review, so please feel free to look at them with other tops and dresses. Usually, when I think of "tummy tamer" garments, I expect high compression and often some type of panel in the front. These do not have really intense compression, which might be an indicator that they are too large. They also have a pretty bulky front panel which is uncomfortable. Nevertheless, they do a reasonably good job smoothing out my figure.
Printed Faux Leather Jacket - Cost to Keep $49.95
When you get your preview of items your stylist picks, you have the opportunity to choose something else instead and replace any of them. I came very close to replacing this jacket, and now, I have to admit, I love it! It actually looks really good on me! I have never seen a printed moto jacket before, and I didn't know if I would like it, but I kind of love it! Plus the details on the sleeves are super cool.
Zip Detail Knit Top - Cost to Keep $22.95
This knit top is pretty basic, but I do really like the zipper detail. I feel like I already have a million navy tops, though, and this one is not particularly flattering on me.
Geo Jacquard Cardigan - Cost to Keep $44.95
This acrylic cardigan was another of my stylist's picks, and I am not really in love with it. I like the colors, and I like the idea of a geometric print, but this one is just not my favorite.
Sweater Column Dress - Cost to Keep $44.95
Perhaps at some point in my life, I will be in a place once again to wear body-conscious dresses, but I just am not right now. For what it is, this acrylic blend is actually kind of cute, but I know I would never wear it. I do like the colors and print.
Wrap Front V-Neck - Cost to Keep $27.95
This acrylic sweater is super warm! I also love the color and the open neckline. This is actually a faux wrap. It just has two overlapping layers in the front, but they are sewn into the sweater. No fashion mishaps here! The price is good, too.
Shift Roll-Tab Shirt Dress - Cost to Keep $39.95
This poly blend dress might be my favorite piece in the box! I love it! I love the color and the print, and I think the cut is pretty flattering on me. I am loving all the red this month!
The Verdict: I am really enjoying my subscription to PS by JustFab! This month was a mixture of hits and misses, but I think there were more hits than usual. I really love the moto jacket and the printed red dress! I also think that JustFab's prices are very reasonable in general.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? JustFab curates boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!
Value Breakdown: This box cost $20 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $293.60. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep all the items, I get a 20% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $200.20 for the whole box. Ultimately, that’s roughly a 32% discount!
