This box comes with a booklet detailing the items included:

Now, on to the items!

Sunday Riley Ceramic Slip Clay Cleanser - 1 oz Value $10.80

(Good to know for swaps - this item has an inner foil seal.)

No surprise here, another Sunday Riley discovery that I love! This cleanser left my skin feeling SO soft and smooth, it was gentle, and I really like the ocean-like scent!

To use, you apply to dry skin, massage in circles (it will form a slight foam), then rinse with warm water.

Lancome Renergie Multi-Lift - 5 ml Value $7.63

This is a day cream with SPF 15. In general, I've been very impressed with the results from the Lancome skincare I've sampled. (Their Visionnaire Nuit Beauty Sleep Perfector is one of my holy grail skincare items I will pay full price for.)

This cream is light, absorbs almost immediately, and is designed to lift, firm, and tighten skin. (I haven't noticed differences in those areas, but this sample also might not be enough for me to see results.) I love how this felt on my skin, though. (One word of caution for those with sensitive skin - this is scented.)

Marc Jacobs Re(Cover) - 30 ml Value $10.45

Marc Jacobs makeup in a subscription box? Yes, please! This is a makeup setting mist is infused with five forms of coconut so it's hydrating and refreshes your skin, too. (Plus it's free from parabens, sulfates, and phthalates!)

It smells like coconut, too! The only thing that wasn't perfect about this spray was the mist. I expected it to be a finer mist since this is such a premium makeup brand. (Maybe the full-size version has a better mister?)

Wish Formula The Mask with Centella Honey Fermented Serum - Retail Value $4.80

This sheet mask was SO soothing! Normally I'm annoyed if I have to wear a sheet mask for longer than 10 minutes, but I didn't want to take this one off!

Skin Chemists Anti-Aging Charcoal Pore Peel Mask - FULL SIZE! Retail Value $54.99

I LOVE peel-off masks. (If you love Biore pore strips, you can probably relate.) For this mask, you apply a thick coat, let it dry (15-20 minutes) then peel off. It helped to clean out my pores a bit, and my skin felt clean and soft after using it.

Urban Veda Reviving Body Lotion - 50 ml (The total value for the set of all three Urban Veda items is approximately $16.55)

This is an ingredient-conscious brand that is new to me, so I was excited to try three different products from their line. The lotion is lightweight, absorbs almost instantly, and has a light rose scent.

Urban Veda Reviving Body Scrub - 50 ml

I should mention that while the formulas of these samples are great, the container choice is poor. I could barely get any of this product out of the bottle. (Same goes for the lotion).

This body scrub is made with pumice, and pomegranate seed powder - think of it like a body wash with exfoliation.

Urban Veda Reviving Body Wash - 50 ml

This creamy body wash was moisturizing, and it was actually easy to use this sample!

Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $105.22. I paid about $63 (including shipping to the US). I think this box is a great deal if you live in the UK and get free shipping. I'm really happy with the brands included, and every item is a win for me, so the value is worth it for me this month.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No.

Value Breakdown: At $63 for this box, here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Sunday Riley: $6.46
  • Lancome: $4.57
  • Marc Jacobs: $6.25
  • Wish Mask: $2.87
  • Skin Chemists Mask: $32.92
  • Urban Veda Set: $9.91

This looks like a good beauty subscription but the UK price is a little high and with the exchange rate the way it is the US cost is prohibitive for me. What happened to the good old days when the US benefited from the exchange rate?
