March 2018 Geek Fuel Review

The March 2018 box continues the new Pin Palz series with an X-Files pin - plus items from Star Trek, Ready Player One, and a new Steam game.

Each delivery arrives with a detailed card that gives you information on each item.

It also comes with a mini magazine. This has a few sections dedicated to interviews and stories - plus the always-awesome gift guide!

Captain Kirk Shirt - Value $15?

This month, subscribers will receive one of two Star Trek shirts featuring Captian Kirk or Spock. They definitely have that vintage vibe to them! This is a little different than typical shirts from Geek Fuel - but it definitely fits the vibe of the franchise.

X-Men Mystery Mini - Value $6-7 on Amazon

Each subscriber will get one mystery mini from Funko.

They arrive in these black mystery bags.

I got Mystique - but there are a ton to collect, including that awesome looking Juggernaut!

Pin Palz - The X-Files - Value $5-10?

This month's Pin Palz series features The X-Files! I really love the variant that I received!

I received the only non-character pin available - but you could receive Mulder and Scully, of course, or the more-rare alien and Langley.

Ready Player One Crystal Key Keyring - Value $10?

Get ready for the upcoming movie (and fantastic book!), Ready Player One, with this crystal key and giveaway contest.

The key is just a simple one0sdied keyring.

On the back, you'll get your entry into the HTC Vive giveaway. Simply go to the URL and enter your details to see if you've won!

Forced Showdown Steam Game - Value $20

This month also brings a higher value Steam game - Forced Showdown.

This one is pretty cool and one of the more robust Steam games I've seen! It's a strategy/action RPG with a lot of Warcraft vibes to it.

Verdict: I'm definitely a fan of the new pin series but the box feels like it's missing a little something. I think I'm used to getting at least one of those Geek Fuel exclusive hero items - and with this box, it's a Funko mystery mini instead. That being said, I do like the shirt, game, and mystery mini - so the value is still there for me.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! You can always tell which month your subscription will start with on Geek Fuel's homepage banner at the top left of the screen - under their logo!

COUPON: $3 off your first month + Bonus Items with longer length subscriptions! No coupon required, just use this link
