March 2018 Harrison Blake Apparel Monthly Club Review
Harrison Blake's subscription is pretty straightforward - you'll always receive a tie plus matching accessories that complete the look. This month played around with some orange tones.
Each delivery comes with a business card size info car. It lists each item and its value. All items are made by Harrison Blake - so I'll be using the values from this card. This month also includes a 70% off discount code to their store.
Orange/Gold Stripe Tie - Value $30
The Harrison Blake package typically all spans from the colors and vibe of the time. The March tie features pops of gold and orange color.
The ties are pretty much the same consistency from month to month - once you get an idea of the construction, you'll be ready to build your collection.
Gold Mosiac Pocket Square - Value $20
The pops of gold make their way into this month's mosaic pocket square design - this time, playing a bit more with blue.
Orange Dot Socks - Value $8
Most months tend to come with calf-high socks. These are always on the thinner side - more like a dress sock. That being said, I find these pretty comfortable and still wear them on colder days - which are unfortunately coming back around in early March!
Gold & Stainless Ring - Value $30
This was an odd choice to me. This ring will not fit everyone's finger - so you're not going to get all happy customers with this item. but, it surprisingly fit my finger! I think this is the first time I've received a ring in a men's box - I'm curious how everyone felt about it.
Horse Lapel Pin - Value $20
To round out the package, you'll get a new horse lapel pin.
Verdict: There are a few subscriptions out there that provide everyday basics - I think of this subscription just like that, but for dress clothing basics. I've been building out a nice tie, tie bar, and pocket square collection from this subscription - and I'm always using the socks on a regular basis.
