Nadine West is a subscription styling service for women sizes small to 3X. Subscribers fill out a style quiz and are sent an outfit every month based on their style preferences. The best part is that there's no styling fee—just a small shipping fee that is credited toward the cost of anything you keep.

About Nadine West

The Subscription Box: Nadine West

The Cost: $9.78 is charged to your account when your package ships (to cover shipping) and that amount is put towards the cost of the items you keep. If you return everything, however, that amount is not refunded.

IMPORTANT NOTE: A couple of months ago, several readers expressed concern over the shipping charge of $9.78. Please note that this is a recent increase! However, existing subscribers keep their previous rate, which I think was $6.50.

The Products: Each pink package will include 2-4 items. Typical combos include a shirt or scarf and a couple pieces of jewelry and other accessories.

Ships to: U.S.

This is the invoice that was sent with my package. The return date is listed on the invoice, super helpful!

Hammered Glory Necklace - Cost to Keep $24.99

This necklace is very pretty and it's a little better quality than what I have come to expect from Nadine West. Still, I have never really been into statement necklaces. It's just not my style. I think it looks pretty good on me, though (see more photos with the clothing below.)

Boho Chic Earring - Cost to Keep $14.99

Look at how ornate these silver tone earrings are, very pretty. I don't know if I would necessarily call them boho, but I like them! They are a good size without being too heavy as well.

Kandula Embrace Bracelet - Cost to Keep $15.99

This bracelet might be my favorite piece in the box! It's very pretty, and I love elephants! It looks like a bangle, but the elephant is actually on a hinge with a hidden closure, so it is easy to put on and take off. I also like the silver theme this month.

Surreal Top - Cost to Keep $26.99

I really love the color and print on this top, and I think the open bell sleeves is a really stylish detail.  Otherwise, this knit top underscores my biggest problem with Nadine West: very inconsistent sizing. I realized a year or so ago that their clothing almost universally runs small, so I sized up. The size I am wearing in this photograph is a full "X" larger than what I typically wear, which means it should be about two sizes too big. Since I sized up, there's really no telling if an item will be too big, too small, or fit right. This is clearly too small.

FringeFinity Scarf - Cost to Keep $17.99

This scarf is a really good size for an infinity scarf. It's also a very very soft acrylic, and it' a good weight for typical winter weather here in Georgia. I also like the color because I think it will go with most of my wardrobe. Unfortunately, I think spring is springing here, so I don't know if I would really use it until the fall.

Cardigan Couture - Cost to Keep $29.99

This is a really basic dark grey cotton/poly blend cardigan. It's completely standard. I like all the buttons! It's a little too small for me, too, though.

The Verdict: I love Nadine West! This month was a bit of a mess, though, honestly. I usually find more things I like than this, and it's especially disappointing since they sent six items instead of five this month. I do really like the elephant bracelet, though, and I think the earrings are nice, too. I think if you want to treat yourself to a styling service on a budget, Nadine West is the way to go! Their pieces are not always the highest quality, but they are consistently the least expensive.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every package is individually curated to match your unique style, so no, every package will be different.

Value Breakdown: The items are valued at $130.94. To just try them on, it costs only $9.78 (which goes towards the cost of whatever you keep), and you can return whatever you don't want. The average cost per piece is $21.82.

I like the outfit, I can’t afford to keep it. The thing I don’t like. I literally got it yesterday and it has to be returned today. Not even a full day to wear the outfit. Enjoy the time to wear it and go out in public, you know, show it off a lil.

I think Wantable and SF send you “wow” items. This box is just a mess. Their jewerly is highly overpriced and clothes look like they came from 90% off bin.
