Nerdy Post is a monthly celebration of your favorite fandoms from TV, movies, and books. Every month, you'll get handcrafted items centered around a different monthly fandom.
Everything you get in Nerdy Post is handmade by Alexis, Nerdy Post's creator. Here's what their site says:
"...we wanted to provide unique, high-quality designs that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Hand lettering and illustrating these designs means that nothing is created using fonts or stock images from a computer. Designs are of course digitized in order to be printed on the products, but they will retain their hand-crafted quality."
Alexis recently started offering a Nerdy Tees subscription, which features one graphic tee that fits the monthly theme, for $15.95 a month plus shipping. You can also get the t-shirt and the items in the usual Nerdy Post box in her Nerdy Combo subscription, which is $29.90 per month plus shipping. She also offers Nerdy Post Lite for $9.95 per month, which delivers 5-7 items each month, instead of the 8 that arrive in the classic Nerdy Post.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
This review is for the Nerdy Post box, which is $13.95 a month.

Nerdy Post "Dumbledore" March 2018 Review
If you're following along, I'm reviewing the standard Nerdy Post box, so we'll see the items that are listed under Nerdy Post Lite AND Nerdy Post on the info card!
"It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities" Dumbledore Quote Print
This print appears on the back of the info card. I love the rustic, doodle-like quality of this 5" x 7" print by @sweetsequels. It looks like it could be an illustration in a book.
Double-Sided Dumbledore Quote Bookmark
The first side of this bookmark (the darker of the two) is a design by @nineteenthstudio. I like how the energy of the words is reflected in the dynamic, pointed lettering. The second side is my fave, though. It's by @an.artist.has.no.name and has such a gorgeous flow to it. When artists make lettering (not just creating the letters but fitting all of those words on the page in an appealing way) look so effortless, I am always in awe.
"We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided" Dumbledore Quote Poster
There are TWO poster-sized prints in this month's box! Usually, we only get one! Each poster is the size of a standard sheet of paper and has a gentle gloss to it. I love the bold, invigorating hues of this poster (which it looks like Alexis designed herself) and the graceful way that the words twist and fit around one another. This is also just one of my favorite Dumbledore quotes, so I'm eager to pop this one up on my home!
Dumbledore's Office Poster
The second poster is this gorgeous illustration of Dumbeldore's office by @knutmegg.art. I love the detail and the way they made it so you could see both the outside and the inside of the turrets. Little Harry Potter even makes an appearance in this one!
Dumbledore Quote Round Sticker
I love this quote, and I'm so glad to get a cool sticker to stick to my laptop or water bottle or what have you. But I will say, this feels like the wrong design for this format, just because the sticker is only 2.5" wide and there's so much detail and flourish that gets lost from afar! I want this gorgeous, twirling script to have room to be appreciated, and it seems just a smidge too crowded here on this small sticker. But as I mentioned, the colors are awesome, the lettering is beautiful, and the quote is a classic!
One-Sided Dumbledore "Fat" Bookmark
Alexis calls this style of print a fat bookmark, as it's the same length as her other bookmarks, but is 3.5" wide. This is an illustration by @dasstark. I love the detail and that the celestial Hogwarts ceiling makes an appearance in the background. You can use it either as a bookmark or just as a cool, vertical print.
"Happiness can be found in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light" Washi Tape Roll
How cute is this little item, designed by Alexis? I love the tiny stars peppered across this indigo tape. I also love that the amount of tape it takes to read the whole quote is about the length I'd use to seal an envelope. I feel like this would be a great message to see before you crack into a greeting card, don't you?
Lapel Yeah "Nitwit Blubber Oddment Tweak" Enamel Pin
This pin is a cool nod to the ever-quirky Dumbledore. The pin is about 1.75" wide and has a nice heft to it. There are two posts on the back to keep it extra secure on your lapel, too. I like that this rendition of Dumbledore is yellow—it's like he's a character on The Simpsons!
Coloring Book Postcard
Each box comes with a postcard with a coloring-book-esque illustration on the back. It's plenty of fun to color in just for yourself or color in and send to a fellow fan!
The Verdict: I just love this artful little subscription. Sure, it's just paper goods (and extras, like the cool pin!) but the quality of the art and the unique experience makes it totally worth it for me. The subscription does a great job of touching on fandoms across the book, movie, TV, and comics spectrum, so there's a good chance you'll find something you like in every box. This is the first box I've gotten that focuses entirely on one character from one universe, but I thought it was really lovely. And hey, if you're going to choose one character to focus on, Dumbledore is such a good, wise, verbose person to pick!
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Boxes ship out on the 15th of the month. However, if there are extra boxes available, they're sometimes listed on the Nerdy Post site shop!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $19.95 after US shipping. The average cost of each of the 9 items in the box (counting the two-sided bookmark as one item) is $2.22
