Nerdy Post is a monthly celebration of your favorite fandoms from TV, movies, and books. Every month, you'll get handcrafted items centered around a different monthly fandom.
Everything you get in Nerdy Post is handmade by Alexis, Nerdy Post's creator. Here's what their site says:
"...we wanted to provide unique, high-quality designs that you wouldn't find anywhere else. Hand lettering and illustrating these designs means that nothing is created using fonts or stock images from a computer. Designs are of course digitized in order to be printed on the products, but they will retain their hand-crafted quality."
Alexis recently started offering a Nerdy Tees subscription, which features one graphic tee that fits the monthly theme, for $15.95 a month plus shipping. You can also get the t-shirt and the items in the usual Nerdy Post box in her Nerdy Combo subscription, which is $29.90 per month plus shipping. She also offers Nerdy Post Lite for $9.95 per month, which delivers 5-7 items each month, instead of the 8 that arrive in the classic Nerdy Post.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Nerdy Post "Fictional Boyfriends" February 2018 Review
If you're following along, I'm reviewing the standard Nerdy Post box, so we'll see the items that are listed under Nerdy Post Lite AND Nerdy Post on the info card!
Mini Print of Lincoln from The 100
On the reverse side of the info card is this 5" x 7" illustration of a character from the science fiction CW show/book The 100. It's a relatively simple print—just the character against a pale gray background—but the art is really detailed. I love the realistic shading of the textures on his shirt! This piece was done by Instagram user @taratjah. (Nice job!)
Poster Print featuring Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices
Ugh, this QUOTE! The color scheme is timeless, but the sentiment is spot on for Valentine's Day. Did you know this comes from an even longer passage of the book that's packed with even MORE epic romance! Amazing. Every time this subscription features a quote that's longer than a few words, I'm always so impressed. This poster is just 8.5" x 11" big, but all of these words and designs fit onto the page so elegantly.
Two-Sided Quote Bookmark featuring A Court of Thorns and Roses and The Hunger Games
The bookmarks in this subscription have become some of my favorite items to collect. I have a bunch of them now, and they each feel so unique and different from one another. The first side is a Peeta quote set against a flickering flame background, all designed by Instagram user @an.artist.has.no.name. On the back, there's a quote from Rhysand. Personally, this side is my fave. The eggplant and amethyst hues are really pretty, and the quote is so swoon-worthy.
Quote Print featuring Outlander
This print was originally supposed to be a sticker, but as that tiny note mentions, it had to be switched to a print due to a mishap in the process. That's all A-OK with me. This 4" x 6" card is a just a bit smaller than the other postcard-sized print in the box, but it's still beautifully laid out. It also has an austerity to it, with its bleached-wood background and stately serif text.
Eleanor & Park Sticker
This sticker is so cute! I do wish it was a little bigger. It's got a whole lot of quote on just 2 inches of sticker. While it looks cute, I think it'd be easier to read if the sticker was an inch or two bigger. I love the handwritten quality of the script and the ombre patterns. Plus, what a gorgeous quote. As an art-lover, this one really gets me right in the heart.
Coloring Postcard
Each month, you get a new coloring-book-style postcard in your box that features a design to fit that month's theme. This one highlights two popular pirates—Jack Sparrow and Captain Hook! I think these postcards are fun to collect and pull out to color when I'm kicking back in front of the TV on a night in.
Mini Print featuring Anne of Green Gables
YESSS! Gilbert Blythe, what a dream. I'm so glad he got a moment in the spotlight in this box! This print might be my favorite item. The colors just feel so springy and fresh. Maybe it's because of the banner, but this design is giving off some cool tattoo vibes to me. How amazing would a Gilbert Blythe tattoo be? So hip.
Happy Hello Magnetic Bookmark featuring Harry Potter
How cute is this little Sirius bookmark? This bookmark uses two magnets to clip over the top of your page. It's a really clever design, plus the detail on the illustration is super charming. There are delicate little patterns on his jacket, vest, and shirt, and he's even holding a tiny wand!
Enamel Pin featuring Shatter Me
I haven't heard of this series before, but even I can appreciate this fiery quote from the character Warner. I love the quality of pins that come in this subscription. This pin is about 1.5" wide, features enamel cleanly set in its graphite-colored metal setting, and has two posts on the back to make it extra secure.
The Verdict: As usual, this box was a ton of fun. I love the artistry of the prints and other designs, and the quality of the pin is great. The sticker situation was a bit of a bummer, but the print version of the one sticker was nice. I just wish the second one was bigger! I have a lot of fun rifling through my monthly box, especially because I know I'm supporting independent artists. It might be a little pricey for simple paper goods, but the uniqueness of the thoughtfully created art, in my opinion, makes it worth it.
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Boxes ship out on the 15th of the month. However, if there are extra boxes available, they're sometimes listed on the Nerdy Post site shop!
