Orglamix is a vegan and cruelty-free beauty subscription containing loose shadows, glitter pigments, aromatherapy roll-ons, and more. Many of the items in the subscription will be unique to the subscription and not available in the Orglamix shop (although they will have the same great formula).
They are now doing custom box prints every month and they’re quite pretty.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Orglamix February 2018 “Rosy Glow” Review
This month’s theme is “Rosy Glow,” which fits with the image I’ve come to expect from Orglamix themes over time. Please note this is February’s box, which I received around the end of the month:
The box came with an information card detailing the items and theme for February.
Solar Balm Nail + Cuticle Oil – Listed Value $6.50
My nails are just in awful shape and need all the help they can get. I was excited to try this out. I already like it better than liquid products because it’s much less messy. I’m going to reserve judgment on its effectiveness until I’ve tried it more than once, though! I don’t get cuticle/nail treatments often since I don’t get too many beauty boxes, so I’m happy with the product type.
Ginger Rose Tea Refillable Perfume Atomizer – Listed Value $8
A refillable atomizer is a fun idea (and is something I don’t already own). You could decant some of your favorite designer fragrance in here to make it portable once you are finished with the fragrance it comes with. Anyway, this is primarily a floral and citrus fragrance. Although floral and citrus are not usually my thing, there is something about this one that I like. It reminds me of summer! The notes include bergamot, lemon peel, green daylilies, cardamom, ginger, warm musk, hyacinth, freesia, and peony. It is entirely possible the cardamom, ginger, and musk is what I’m liking, as these are notes I almost always enjoy.
Rosy Glow Lip Whip – Listed Value $15
This doesn’t have a bold color (see a swatch below, but keep in mind that is pretty thick and it would be thinner on the lips). But it has a wonderful texture, “whip” is a great way to describe it; it’s light an airy. It’s moisturizing and perfect for putting on over a drying liquid lipstick or lip stain.
Miracle Peel Microdermabrasion Mitt – Listed Value $7
I think we received one of these a year or two ago from Orglamix, but they do wear out, and I had never gotten around to purchasing another, so this is a welcome inclusion. I was skeptical of these the first time I tried one, but they really do work. You just wet this and then rub on your face and it’ll take your makeup off without any kind of cleanser. These are perfect for traveling – no liquids to worry about. Please note: I didn’t try this in the eye area, I just used it on my face where I had foundation on.
Face Oil Daily Nourishing Treatment – Listed Value $29
I used to think I couldn’t use facial oils without breaking out. Then I discovered that if I am really good about exfoliating, I don’t have trouble with facial oils. So now I exfoliate a lot because I have found I actually like using facial oils. This one smells rather herbal to me (not a bad thing – it’s refreshing). I haven’t decided yet whether this is a morning or evening product for me as I’ve only used on the weekend when I wasn’t wearing makeup. You only need a few drops to cover your whole face. It also has antioxidants, which I love to see in skincare.
Golden Rose Natural Eyeshadow – Listed Value $12.50
You’ll always get one loose mineral eyeshadow in Orglamix (the color is typically exclusive to the subscription; prices are in line with other colors available in the shop). Sometimes it is a bold color, but this is a bit more on the tame side. Since I tend to be conservative with my eye looks, I do use a lot of pinks and roses. These have a nice formula that blends well and doesn’t irritate my eyes.
Here are swatches of the lip whip (top) and eyeshadow.
Verdict: I calculated a value of $78 for the February Orglamix subscription box. None of the items were in their shop, so I had to use values from the information card, but they seem reasonable based on prices of other Orglamix items. This value was well above the cost of the subscription. I liked that the “rosy glow” theme included moisturizing items for skin and nail health as well as a subtle lip color. I’d argue the microdermabrasion mitt qualifies as a “rosy glow” item as well as it helps keep your skin clean without stripping its natural oils. It would’ve been easy to take this theme and run with highlighters and such, but I’m glad the people at Orglamix took a different approach. All-in-all, I thought this box had a nice mix of items without too much in any one category.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, this was February's box and they typically ship around the 10th, so you’d most likely get the April box as your first one.
Value Breakdown: At $29 per box, here’s approximately what you are paying per item:
- Cuticle Oil: $2.42
- Perfume/Atomizer: $2.97
- Lip Whip: $5.58
- Microdermabrasion Mitt: $2.60
- Face Oil: $10.78
