It feels like I have tried them all and I think that PS was the biggest disappointment. I got 3 or 4 boxes before cancelling. Rather than an exceptionally curated box, the products seemed like leftover promotional items (my daughter even said as much when she saw me wearing a scarf that had come in a PS box). One of the priciest out there and so totally not worth it. But hot damn, they know how to market.

Grrrrrrr……..marketing. If their sales technique makes you frustrafter, is it worth sending them your $$$$? I don’t have this issue with FabFitFun, just sayin’.

Sooooo, I signed up yesterday evening after this arrival was published. They charged my card immediately and updated my account to relect the Fall Box as my first shipment.
Upon logging into my account today, it says I’m indeed going to receive the Summer box and allows me to proceed with customizations.

OK, so with their disclaimer that if earlier sold out box becomes available, your subscription will start with that box, does this mean that they would send the Summer box and an unsized robe?
The subscriber would have the option to opt out if they sold out of all but, say, one size of robes and it was the wrong size left, right?
I paid for my subscription last month, and chose what I hope is a robe which will fit ( I have my doubts about the chest area closing) so I’m not asking for myself, just wondering if they’d push unsized robes on people or not.
I don’t have a lot of experience about sized clothing items in a non- clothing sub. box.

That is a good question. I also wonder about people with annual subscriptions. They can’t just cancel, so they would be stuck with a robe that doesn’t fit. One the plus side, I guess, there’s still a few hundred dollars worth of other stuff in the box, and the robe can be swapped or gifted. I always feel weird gifting stuff I get in sub boxes though.

Do they still have the disclaimer(whatever you call it) when you sign up? The, “if ____ box becomes available, you will receive it, ” as your first box? Riiiiiiiiight. Not buying that this is actually sold out. I’ve got a million swans, PS books, etc. that say that ain’t true.

… perhaps called marketing or an attempt to not disappoint more based on the quick sell out of the XXL size – have to wonder how so many subs keep going – the negativity must be exhausting – and yes, I am guilty of my share!! 😢😳 … but, no more!!

I really wanted to subscribe, but I can’t get a box where the robe won’t fit. I hope the box is great for everyone but if the future is clothes where the sizes you need sell out or don’t have I don’t think this is my box anymore and let’s just say my house was an oasis of pink boxes.

I’m okay sitting this one out. Their first boxes don’t have a great track record. Their first box ever was a total disappointment though their second was amazing. Their first mini box was the beginning of a short lived experiment. I got every single one of their boxes until I just quit last fall, so it may be burnout but I have a hard time getting excited by this revamp.

I am going to say I am 95% sure it won’t come back. They did not have extra Fall Special edition or Neiman Marcus ones.

Not so. After stating, rather definitively that the Fall Box was done, a few months later they offered it at a discounted price through Gilt City. Plus, all the items then appeared in mystery boxes. The same is true for a few of the monthly boxes that supposedly sold out, but then were available on Gilt City a few months later. The only thing that might make this one more complicated is the robe.

It’s odd that they would jump straight to being sold out with members not even billed yet. I’d think they would waitlist first. With all of the complaints I’ve seen, I doubt a lot of members will stay subbed. The bottom still says to buy the summer box, though (from mobile).

Just in case anyone is really upset, I have to think that some people will cancel since they aren’t charging until April 23. So there might still be a chance for some boxes to become available…unless the upcoming spoilers are awesome. And I do hope we are still getting more spoilers over the next month!!

WOW. That was fast! Is that typically the case with these boxes? This will only be the 2nd box that I’ve gotten from PopSugar so I don’t have much to compare it to. I am, however, very excited for the box to come though!

My guess is they’re using the FFF tactic of saying boxes sold out but then making a billion available when people panic and subscribe.
