Scentbird is a cologne subscription for women and men where you choose one fragrance per month. They offer a variety of authentic designer scents and allow you to narrow down by either traditional categories for notes (e.g., citrusy, woodsy, spicy, etc.) or more general descriptive terms (e.g., casual, workout, going out). Subscribers also receive a monthly discount code that can be used on full-size bottles of perfume or cologne from the Scentbird shop.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Scentbird

Valentino Uomo Acqua, 8 ml - Estimated Value $8.10 (buy a 2.5 oz bottle for $75)

This cologne is described as a combination of tomato, iris, patchouli, mandarin, and leather. I knew I enjoyed most of these scents but was unfamiliar with a few like iris and mandarin. After testing this out, I was instantly drawn to all of the scents and received so many compliments on day 1 of wearing it! Each scent note really compliments the next (leather especially!) and I can see myself buying an actual full-size bottle one day after this runs out.

Verdict: I continue to be impressed with Scentbird and the service they provide. I tend to get bored with my colognes over time, so this service is a great way for me to test scents I wouldn't normally buy in the store. I tend to always pick a less expensive cologne but a higher price doesn't always mean better smell!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Scentbird sends what you ask them to, so your scent will be completely different from mine. First-time orders will ship a few days after the order is placed.

My husband ran out and says he wants more but I know they can get pricey. I’ll show him this, thanks!
