ShoeDazzle February 2018 Review
Shoedazzle included an invoice that is rather standard. On the back are return and/or exchange policy information.
They included another discount code for Nakedwines.com. I have received quite a few of these cards, but have yet to sign up. This is a great deal, though! One always can stock up on wine as gifts for housewarmings, dinner parties, etc.
Shoe Dazzle included this $50 coupon for Hello Fresh meal plan service. This is another service I have considered using, especially due to Jess and Anna’s Hello Fresh reviews! The food always looks so amazing!
Shoedazzle also included a pamphlet on their VIP program and incentives like credit on account for inviting a friend to the site.
Black Mock Neck Dress, Size 2x - Retail Value $42.95, VIP Price $22.95
My love for mock turtleneck tops and dresses can be attributed to my mother. They are go-to’s for her and she always looks so chic and put together in them. Our styles are rather different, but we both can agree that a mock turtleneck is something everyone needs in their wardrobe. I had a similar dress I bought from Rainbow, but since I lost some weight it is a tad too big on me these days. I jumped at getting a replacement when I saw this number on the Shoedazzle site! The dress is a thinner, slinkier cotton spandex material with ample stretch. It is incredibly comfortable and the length is ideal as well. What I love is that I can easily wear this dress in warmer weather months for a variety of special occasions, but it is also able to be worn in chillier months paired with sweaters and jackets. I styled the dress two ways to show its versatility with pieces from my CHC Vintage accessories review and my Jewlybox review (coming soon!), booties, and my go-to this winter season--- my big bulky cardigan.
Knit Midi Skirt in Red, Size 3x - Retail Value $22.95, VIP Price $14.95
I essentially live in pencil style skirts, so when I spotted this hot number I had to have it! A skirt like this is a fantastic staple in any wardrobe due to its adaptability. This skirt will look great paired with your favorite band shirt or casual top on the weekends, but also can be paired with button downs for when you go back to the office. I went for a Partridge Family business casual look by styling the skirt a groovy button-down top, double buckle western belt, and black wedge heels. I got a ton of compliments on this ensemble at work, so thanks, Shoedazzle! Plus, in addition to looking good, this skirt is insanely comfy due to its stretchy cotton material and elastic waistband. I felt like I was wearing a stretch t-shirt all day. Hallelu for a comfy work outfit!
Knit Midi Skirt in Black, Size 2x - Retail Value $22.95, VIP Price $14.95
I decided to get the same skirt in black because you cannot have enough solid colored pencil skirts as far as I am concerned. I also decided to try one out in a 3x and a 2x because I am all over the place in terms of sizing and legitimately wasn’t sure which would fit better. Oddly enough, I didn’t notice much of a difference between the 2x and 3x sizes I selected. The 3x was slightly roomier and a smidge longer, but not oversized by any stretch of the imagination. I decided to get the black in the smaller size since I sensed it would be easier to deal with if it was too snug. This skirt fits me like a dream, so I have no regrets! I opted to style this awesome skirt with a blue leopard print top, comfy red Docs, and a thick, black, elastic belt to complete this kitschy, yet vampy Peg Bundy look.
Verdict: I am beyond pleased with the pieces I got from my February Shoedazzle order. This month’s selections were all wardrobe staples, but trust me they are anything but basic! I love the patterns and variety of styles that Shoedazzle offers, but sometimes you need a solid colored piece to act as a team player and enhance your bolder pieces in your wardrobe. All three of these pieces can be styled in an infinite number of ways and can be worn all year long. The $52.85 for these three pieces is a paltry amount to pay when you think of how much use I will get out of each of these items throughout the year. What a value!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? It looks like both pencil skirts are gone, but the mock turtleneck style dress is still available on the Shoedazzle site! Act fast since sizes can run out quickly!

Value Breakdown: This order for two skirts and a dress came up to $52.85. If I had ordered these items as a non-VIP I would have paid $88.85. I saved about 40% by being a VIP! That is a heck of a deal!
