Stitch Fix recently started offering a styling service for plus sizes, and I couldn't be happier. I signed up on the very first day, of course!

Stitch Fix is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service. When you sign up you take a pretty in-depth survey about your sizes, your style, and pricing preferences. After choosing when youíd like to receive your delivery, your stylist handpicks 5 items based on your preferences. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. (If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!)

My items are reflective of my style and price preferences, so your Stitch Fix may be completely different!

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing March 2018 Review

stitch fix plus march 2018 booklet 2

This is the invoice that was included in my package. It lists out the items I received and the cost to keep each. I think a 25% discount for keeping everything is pretty generous!

This really fun sheet of cards was also included. It has a note from my stylist in the upper left corner. I really appreciate the personalization that goes into her selections! All the other cards are styling ideas for the items in my box. How clever!

This month I also received this little card in my box promoting Stitch Fix's new service, Stitch Fix Extras. You can shop intimates on Stitch Fix's Website and they will include them in your package. Your styling fee can also be applied to Extras!

Glenys Ankle Tie Sandal by Franco Sarto - Cost to Keep $79

These leather sandals are super cute! This is also the first time I have ever received shoes as my accessory from Stitch Fix. I really like the idea, but unfortunately, I have very wide feet, so these will not fit. I will have to make a special note to my Stitch Fix stylist to make sure they do not include shoes in the future.

Brindy Shark Bite Hem Top by Status - Cost to Keep $48

This is a really unusual, pretty cotton top that fits well with my boho aesthetic. I like it! I think it fits well and looks nice, too. I don't have anything like it!

Gisela Side Slit Maxi Skirt by Kaileigh - Cost to Keep $38

This knit maxi skirt also fits really well. It's super comfortable, and I especially like the length. I am just bummed because I seriously bought a skirt that is nearly identical to this one less than a month ago! Do I need two black maxi skirts?

Warren Wide Leg Printed Pant by Michel Studio - Cost to Keep $78

I have been having some denim burnout lately, so I was really happy to get a nice pair of dress pants for a change. These are a really cool black and white plaid! They are a poly blend fabric, and they feel very sturdy and well made. They still have a good amount of stretch, though. I like them!

Karenson Embroidery Detail Duster by August Mist - Cost to Keep $48

Of course, this cotton kimono is my favorite piece in the box! I love the colors and the print! It is also really flattering and super easy to wear. This will be a great piece to transition to spring. I love it!

The Verdict: I am a big fan of Stitch Fix! Ths month's box was another great one! I love the kimono, the pants, and the blouse, and I consider 3 out of 5 wins in a styling box good. Plus they couldn't have known about my wide feet, or that I just bought a black maxi skirt. I am enjoying my subscription to Stitch Fix so far, and I think their prices are among the most reasonable. I can't wait for my next Fix!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Stitch Fix curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $291. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep all 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I would end up spending $198.25 for the whole box. Ultimately, that is a savings of about 32%. The average cost per piece in this box is $58.20.

I think the blue top would be cute on you for summer with narrow leg white or natural color capri or crop pants. Then maybe some nude, yellow or cobalt sandals.

The duster is the keeper item in this box, Anna. It’s lovely and versatile although it has a strong Autumn vibe – nothing about it screams Spring to me.

The pants just don’t work. It’s not you, it’s the print/plaid. With that sort of a graphic, the item has to flow or the windowpane plaid pulls and looks terrible. For $78, I can see being willing to visit a tailor for hemming if the quality is there but for these pants? Um, no.

The shark bite top might be cute over fitted shorts or skinny jeans but the volume of the top along with the volume of that maxi skirt just overwhelms. The price seems reasonable and it’s COTTON! I’d have voted to return if it was poly but it might be a fun, different summer piece.

Those sandals leave me speechless…

Great review, Anna!

That blue top looks hideous. It’s not flattering look at all… The rest is fine. I like duster and pants….

I can’t believe that the majority I’d a pass on that first shirt. It is cool and looks great on you. Keep it!

Anna, you look good in so many things but that blue and white top is seriously shapeless. The black and white pants look great, though, and will be a fantastic addition to your wardrobe once hemmed. Thanks for sharing your fix with us!
