What box have you subscribed to the longest and why?

For me, it's Birchbox - I've been subscribing for over 5 years. It's why I got hooked on subscription boxes!

Allure. I’ve had it since February 2015, so a bit over 3 years. I’ve loved it almost every month, which is saying a lot. But i finally got the strength to cancel it last week, as I see they are moving towards the ultimate buzzkill: variations. Ugh…. no thanks. It hasn’t been as good since editor Patty left so I think I’m getting out at a good time. Now the *only* box I still get is Walmart b/c they are only quarterly and I actually like getting useful things like shampoo, toothpaste and deodorant. However, their shipping schedule has been ridiculously late since Fall 2017 so they might be next to bite the dust. I still hang out at this site almost daily though…why?? I just can’t stay away. 😀

owlcrate- I think 2.5 years. I love that I get a book every month thats usually something I really love (and usually something I wouldn’t have picked up on my own) and I like the extra’s it comes with.

I am in my early 50’s and discovered Ipsy through a friend last year. I also signed up for Sephora, Play. Tried Birchbox, Allure & Macys for a few months before I dropped them due to the sample selections they chose for me. Ipsy is my favorite so far, I will be ending Sephora this month. Just discovered Good Being & Vegan Cuts Beauty Box 3 months ago and they have been great so far…the value of the items in each box is amazing. Thanks to Subscription Addiction for all of the reviews on so many different boxes – your site rocks !!!

Loved + Blessed because I’m still paying the original monthly price. The second that I’m forced to pay the current sub price, I’m out. Unfortunately, the value isn’t there at the expensive price it’s at now.

Mine is the same as Liz.

Birchbox and 6 years and a few months maybe?!?!

Recently every month I look at it and think I’m going to cancel it and never do.

Ipsy is a close second as I have been with them for 6 and a few months….like 3 months after they started I do believe.

And, I’ve been saying the same about ipsy as birchbox each month recently. Hahaha

I might cancel them both and then get 2 others subs, but just trying to figure out what to try, I’m thinking a cat box. I usually get a box and stick with it. I have 9 ish other subs from reading here (thanks Liz hahah) and i jave only cancelled one sub ever after 5 months …..oh and then the evil beauty box 5 box I subbed to from here for about 6 months before they lied and ran off with my last 2 boxes/money.

P.s. I would LOVE a thread/post here just to see how our regulars (or anybody for that matter) store and keep track of all their items. I’ve watched YouTube videos , but I’m curious about our MSA group does. I am looking into options on what I should get to organize my stash of makeup, skincare items. Should I get a desk type thing, a vanity type desk, just a couple tall drawers or what…but I’m always interested and have wondered what works for our ladies and gents here.

I second this request!!! (Mine are in a ton of labeled boxes underneath my vanity. Not the best looking arrangement, but at least nobody can see them there. 😉

Julep. I originally joined because of their awesome “new subscriber” deals. Now I am hooked on their awesome shades. Julep was my gateway to full-on subscription addiction.

Ipsy for me–judging by the number of Ipsy makeup bags I have accumulated it’s been at least three years.
Love with Food for my family, also for three + years.

Ipsy. Been subscribed for 2 years. You just can’t beat the value for the price. Plus the rewards points and Ipsy offers. Birchbox-6 months, Beauty Box 5 (out of business)-7 months, Play By Sephora- 5 months,Walmart Beauty Box-(quarterly)canceled fall 2017, Allure Beauty Box- March is my 7th month but I’m not sure how much longer I’m going to stick around with them. Not happy with their new box variation thing.
