Every month, your candle comes usually wrapped in a square of fabric, but since December they’ve been sending drawstring bags instead.

Any ideas for how to reuse these bags? They are far too cute to not keep!

Each box comes with an info card detailing the candles featured that month:

Now, on to the candle!

Atticus + Finn Candle in Garden Rain - Retail Value $11

This 4-ounce candle is made with phthalate-free fragrance and 100% soy wax. My favorite part? Atticus + Finn is a Pittsburgh, PA-based company!

The scent is a blend of floral notes, the fresh scent of rain, and fresh herbs - very appropriate for the first day of Spring!

And each Vella Box also comes with a little treat like a food or beauty item:

American Meadows Easy to Grow Wildflowers

They had me at "easy to grow!" Plus this is the prettiest seed packet I've ever seen!

Verdict: I'm not sure of the total retail value of this box, but I think the pricing is fair for $12 a month. And I love that there is an inexpensive candle box that works with lots of independent candlemakers! What a lovely Spring box!

I use the bags for small presents. They help dress up inexpensive gifts, especially the larger bags for the 8 oz candles.

I recently reused my bags for odds and ends while traveling! I put bobby pins, hair ties, etc. in one, a bunch of mini make-up products from my Sephora and Allure boxes in another, and jewelry that didn’t otherwise come in a bag in the third. I love these little drawstring bags! I think the fox one is my favorite so far, but this one looks super cute, too!

I would sign up for this subscription in a beat but I’m afraid of candles around my toddler

I’m not a big fan of open flames in my house in general… I don’t burn these candles, I take a big spoon of wax and drop it in my wax warmer.

Works great and no “burnt” smell at all.

I’m reusing their bags for matches and emergency tea light candles in each room of my house.
