March 2018 Vinyl Me, Please Review

The March album brings back an Indie classic from Beach House - the 2008 album, Devotions.

Each delivery comes with a cocktail mix to accompany the music and a foreword from the Vinyl Me, Please team.

It's also accompanied by an LP-size piece of artwork. This month's artwork comes from Luca Venter.

Beach House - Devotion

To celebrate the 10-year anniversary, Vinyl Me, Please has remastered beach House's indie classic, Devotions.

It's an absolutely gorgeous pressing! It has a bit of a sand/water feel to it - I'm really liking it. The album is everything you now have come to expect from Beach House, gloomy tones and atmosphere paired with that Nico-like voice. While it has the gloomy tones, it's also very relaxing - how that works, I really don't know!

Verdict: I've liked the majority of songs I've heard from Beach House over the years, including a few from this album - so I knew what I was getting, and knew that I'd really enjoy giving this one a spin!
