Baby Gap just released a quarterly subscription box! They send you over $100 of mix-and-match pieces chosen based off your size and style preferences. Right now, they offer sizes 0 months-3T. You pay for the whole box when you order, but they make it really easy to send back anything you don’t love.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)
This is a review of a box of “Fun” style clothing for a boy, size 3T.

Baby Gap OutfitBox Spring 2018 Review
There’s always a packing sheet showing my items, their retail prices, and “My Price” for each item – the money I’d be refunded for returning each item.
The “My Prices” add up to $70, the cost of the box, so if you return an item, you get that amount refunded to you.
Every box also includes a pre-paid return envelope to send back any items you don’t love.
Double-Weave Convertible Plaid Shirt – Retail Value $26.95 (found here for $19), My Price: $14.22
Love this plaid shirt! It’s actually reversible into a chambray-esque shirt. The material is doubled so it’s got a nice thickness to it that makes it versatile and good for wearing year round.
Stripe Pocket T-Shirt – Retail Value $16.95, My Price: $8.94
I love good basic pieces for my kids, so a high-quality tee for Gideon for summer is a win in my book. The material feels like a quality thickness but isn’t heavy or hot. Navy and red goes with almost everything else I dress Gideon in so I know this will get a lot of wear.
Graphic Crewneck Pull-Over Sweatshirt – Retail Value: $24.95 (Currently on sale for $18), My Price: $13.16
I’m really not generally a camo person but I think it’s cute how this one has dinosaurs making up some of the pattern. Gideon loved the bright yellow dinosaur, too, and this sweatshirt is the same quality I expect from Baby Gap so it’s a nice piece to have on hand for chilly days.
5” Pull-On Shorts – Retail Value $16.95 (found here for $11), My Price: $8.94
I’m so glad to get some grey knit shorts! These are such a versatile item; I think they may get the most use out of anything in this box this summer. They’re a good length and seem really comfortable, too.
5” Pull-On Shorts – Retail Value $16.95 (found here for $11), My Price: $8.94
These are the same shorts as the grey pair but in a red and navy firetruck print. Also cute – Gideon has worn these once and went around making sure everyone knew he had firemen on his pants!
Gap for Good Pull-On Everyday Khakis in Blue Stripe – Retail Value $29.95 (found here for $21), My Price: $15.80
These are great pants! They look good just the way they are or cuffed, too. The soft waistband is comfortable for Gideon. The fabric is really nice and pretty lightweight which his perfect for the season. I wish I had received the Cargo Khaki colorway because I would get more use out of it, since they’re a solid color, but I think this blue stripe could be more versatile than I think. I’ll have to just branch out of my comfort zone and pair it with things just to see how they look.
One thing I will say about this quarter’s box is that it seems less cohesive than I’m used to from this subscription, but I can still mix and match most of the pieces fine.
Last but not least, each box has a free gift for your kid that you can keep, at no cost, even if you return all the clothing items.
GapKids Disney Mickey Mouse Crew Socks – Retail Value: $5 (found here for $2.99), My price: $0 (free gift)
Mickey socks! These are so cute! We love Disney and Gideon loves Mickey Mouse so these socks are his new favorite!
Here’s my 2.5-year-old, Gideon, modeling the Dinosaur sweatshirt! (Jeans are Baby Gap too, but just not from this box; I got them in a personal purchase.)
Gideon’s got some length to grow in these khakis! I should have cuffed them for this look. I love this button down top. I think it goes with the striped pants alright but I paired it with some classic-colored khakis for Easter.
The Verdict: This is GAP’s third Baby Gap OutfitBox shipment, and it’s one of my all-time favorite subs now. Before this subscription, I had never shopped at Baby Gap before (there’s never been one near me). The “classic” style category was a perfect choice for my style, and everything is definitely high quality, true to size, and adorable. I love how fun it helps me have fun dressing my son! (sometimes it feels like girls get all the fun/cute clothes, you know?) Also, returns are super easy with the prepaid bag.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, as of today the next box you’ll receive would be their Summer quarter collection, and also your box contents vary depending on what you select as your child’s gender and style. I think a seasonal/quarterly box is a smart choice for their model, price point, and product.
Value Breakdown: For $70, I got $132.70 retail value, not including the free gift socks. You can see what you pay for each item because the “My Price” numbers are designed to add up to the cost of the box already. This is so you know what you’ll get refunded for sending any items back.
