CampusCube for Girls Care Package March 2018 Review
When you order the CampusCube College Care Package, you can include an encouraging message to your beloved College student.
While it has been a few years since I was in college, I remember those days vividly and depended on care packages from my parents as I went to school five hours away from home. Let's see what this month's box brought us!
Flamingo Pool Floatie Cup Holder - Buy a pack of 12 for $9.99
This month's box has a major Spring Break feel to it. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was this adorable pool floar cup holder. This mini floar will hold your solo cup in the pool while you float and swim about. I can't wait to take this to the beach with me this summer!
Dang Coconut Chips, 1.43 oz. - Buy 4 bags for $18.99
Here is a fun snack that has a tropical beach feel to it! While I don't love the flavor of coconut, I thought that these chips were really yummy. They were crunchy and sweet with a light hint of dried coconut. I could see this being great to snack on throughout the day or while you are laying poolside on your spring break vacation.
Nectar Sunglasses in Cypress Frame - Retail Value $34.99 (found on sale here for $27.99)
What an amazing surprise to receive a pair of sunglasses in this month's box! These Nectar sunglasses came in the Cypress frame that is also polarized so they are great to keep the rays off of your eyes. The shape of the frame is a great standard style that I find looks great on so many face shapes. These sunglasses were extremely comfortable and made me feel super cool! These are great to take with you on vacation when you don't want to worry about misplacing your nicer pairs or risk losing them while body surfing in the ocean.
Late July Snacks Jalapeno Lime Tortilla Chips, 2.25 oz. - Retail Value $3.49 (found on sale here for $2.29)
These tortilla chips are next level amazing! The jalapeno flavor really shines through here and packs a huge punch of spice. The lime adds a lovely tartness that breaks through the spice, the perfect combination in my opinion. The chips are super thick and crunchy, great to use to dip in your favorite salsa. These are the perfect spring break or summer chip to enjoy next to the pool on a hot day.
Late July Snacks Nacho Chipotle Tortilla Chips, 2 oz. - Retail Value $3.49 (found on sale here for $2.29)
I received a second flavor of tortiall chips from Late July this month and I think I loved this one more than the first bag! The nacho chipotle flavor was so bold and creamy. The chipotle flavor really shines through and then you get this yummy cheesey texture that really lingers. I gobbled this whole bag down within minutes of opening!
Notepad
This notepad is so cute with the "go the extra mile" quote on the front. I honestly haven't received a notepad that was this shape, but I am so happy with this style! The five-ring binding makes this easy to flip from page to page to take notes, make lists, or just doodle some thoughts or drawings. Notepads are always great to have, but I remember blowing through things like this in college so it is always nice to receive an extra one here and there.
R.E.D.D Mint Chocolate Superfood Energy Bar, 2.2 oz. - Buy a box for $35.88
This energy bar was so flavorful! From the moment I opened the packaging, I was hit with the refreshing smell of mint. With 10 grams of protein, 11 superfoods, and 23 vitamins and minerals, you know you are getting something that is delicious and extremely healthy. This would be perfect as an afternoon snack for a quick boost of energy or for breakfast with a bowl of fruit. The bar was extremely filling while it really was very sweet, like a dark chocolate bar!
Metallic Temporary Tattoos, 2 sheets - Retail Value $12
This is one item that I am a bit too old for now, but something I would have loved to receive when I was in college. Temporary tattoos are a fun way to change your look and are always fun to use when going to a concert or at the beach. Plus, there are so many differnet tattoos in this one package that you could use and share with your friends!
That's It Apple & Strawberry Fruit Bar, 1.2 oz. - Buy a pack of 12 for $15.27
I am in love with That's It bars! The apple and strawberry flavor was the perfect pairing and got me excited for the warm weather ahead. The best apart about That's It bars is that they always taste super fresh with real chunks of fruit. The strawberry and apple made the perfect sweet and tart combination. I enjoyed this bar with a cup of coffee in the morning for a little sweet snack.
Verdict: last monthThis month's Campus Cube was so much fun! My Spring Break in college was always in March, depending on when Easter fell. I was lucky enough to go on two trips for Spring Break in college, but the years that I didn't go were usually spent back at home with my family catching up on homework or looking for a summer internship. I thought that this month's box was the perfect curation of items for someone that was either going on vacation or staying home for break. You could take all of the items with you on vacation or just enjoy them at home while you dream of a relaxing summer, homework-free! I received a total of nine items this month, up from 6 , and I was so happy to see higher quality products that were a bit more unique. I mean, the sunglasses alone were a huge surprise!
