Toscano Brown Milk Chocolate Bar – 1.75oz

Toscano Brown Milk Chocolate Bar, 1.75oz – Retail Value $8.93 USD (€7,30)

This is one of the best milk chocolates I’ve ever tasted. The consistency is very smooth. It basically melts in your mouth as soon as it hits your tongue. It avoids being too sweet, as some milk chocolates do.

Vosges Super Dark Coconut Ash and Banana Bar, 0.5 oz.

Vosges Super Dark Coconut Ash and Banana Bar, 0.5 oz. – Buy a 3 oz. bar for $8.00 here

72% cacao

Smells amazing like a summery chocolate treat even though it’s a darker chocolate, it’s fairly creamy. I couldn’t taste much of the banana unless you really let it melt and settle. The crunch of the coconut was a pleasant surprise. I liked taking additional bites of this one as it was one of the more intriguing ones in the box.

Docetta Artisan Sweets, Cookie Dough, 1.7oz - Retail Value $7.50

60% dark chocolate

The end result is what I consider “creamy”, likely due to the cookie dough filling. This one was my least favorite in the box because I wasn’t able to taste or separate the chocolate from the filling. A cool concept, as a lot of people like cookie dough, but it was very sweet. It tasted more like a cream than actual cookie dough.

Mayana Cholocate, Kitchen Sink Bar

Mayana Cholocate, Kitchen Sink Bar - retail Value $7.99

66% dark chocolate

This chocolate bar was huge! It’s definitely too big to finish on my own, but I think it would be a great gift for anyone who really likes a crunchy, creamy chocolate combination. I primarily tasted the peanut butter and enjoyed the crunchiness that the puffed rice and pretzels added.

Theo, Almond Coconut, 3oz

Theo, Almond Coconut, 3oz - Retail Value $4.25

65% Dark chocolate

This was the perfect dark chocolate, bitter meets creamy. I love that some of the almonds were larger and added a nice crunch. While there was no actual fruit in the bar, you can pick up on the notes of it in the chocolate itself. I also love the packaging – the bright colors are very appealing.

The Verdict: I found this month's Chococurb to be a big hit with my family. Although there were only five different chocolates in this month’s box, they were all very large and shareable. Each one had a unique flavor and it was really fun to try them. It’s highly unlikely that I’d get the opportunity to try these chocolates if I were purchasing them by themselves, so I’m definitely a fan of this subscription. Make sure you invite your friends or family over when taste testing these fun flavors!

This month's value totals $28.67 not including the .5 oz Vosges bar, which can only be found in a 3 oz size. The Vosges bar needs to cost at least $6.33 to break even with the $35 a month box cost.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Order by the 10th of April to get the April box! You can, however, find some of the bars featured in this box on the Chococurb site shop!

I was first introduced to subscription boxes when I bumped into Bluum for my little one but quickly discovered new favorites like Hello Fresh and Scentbird. I love boxes that add a fun twist to the normal day-to-day activities and anything I can share with my family.
